Looks great! 32 years ago I did my girlfriend's car, which was a new and dirty 1990 basic Camry. I changed the oil/filter, air filter, topped tire pressures, vacuumed trunk, scrubbed floor mats, polished glass, washed and waxed. Around 11 hrs straight. Unlike your GF, mine only noticed I had filled up the gas tank.
excellent job; you are a high-level detailer. for those lower window trims, there is an unusual treatment that is very effective: using a medium/heavy cut compound/polish with a toothbrush as an applicator. it will smooth out all the surface knicks and scratches, but remove the polish completely before it dries or it will stain. I have seen this used by concours detailers on million-dollar restoration vehicles. your girlfriend's car is a really nice car.
Nice to see someone start with a proper dirty car , not something with a bit of dust on it!. This just shows that the more time & effort you put in, the more you get out of it. Really nice job done, well done.
I ordered a car. My first car. I leased a CLA 180 coupe AMG line executive. Got it for 9+35 and 10k miles for £360/month. Just wanted to share this because I'm honestly really excited. The cars coming in January and until then this is probably all im going to be able to think of. Probably should've gone electric but I like coupes/saloons and there isn't really anything exciting available yet
Snyggt jobbat!
Thank you! 😊 In fact I did, but I did not include it in the video as I showed when I cleaned the winter tires on the car and explained that I gave the summer wheels a super-clean while of the car. 👍
Shouldn't each cleaner be rinsed before another one is applied? Tar remover, then something else, and foam on top of it - not only effectiveness will be reduced for subsequent "layers", but also chemicals might react with each other.
You : Hey babe I’ve washed your car for you.. Look different? her : Why did you do that, I would’ve got it done at a car wash.. No difference really… You 🙃🤨
I've found through many years of experience that women aren't worth the trouble to do anything nice like what you've done. They aren't appreciative of anything and only have their eye's on the next shiny thing...which is usually another guy. SMH
Would be 100x better without this annoying tune. Good job on the car. Question - even lots of grime should be foamed? To help transfer dirt away from the paint? Theoretically?
I take care of my wife's car. I wash it, polish, wax, vacum and set tire pressure regularity. I do it all by myself and I've never taken her car or mine to a car wash because I don't like anyone touching those cars. I enjoy doing it and my wife rewards me all that. Our cars still look brand new!
I used to live in Massachusetts in the US so I know all about salt and winter lol. Amazing work my friend. I drove to Montreal in my Honda integra one year, in winter car came back white instead of metallic blue. Took me 2 days to get it how I wanted and that was only the exterior. Bought it new and kept it waxed so never really needed hard compounding. This was before ceramic coating was a thing. Now i live in France and have no room to detail so car gets a wash and windows clayed. It's unfortunate but have no room. Great work otherwise, salt is a paint killer.
@@ejoautovideos Montreal is like that too, so cold snow freezes over they don't even plow or salt side roads, becomes soooo bumpy. Huge frozen snow chunks on the road.
They use salt on the roads on France? I thought France would be "south enough" not to. Finland is on the same latitude as SE, and correct me if I'm wrong, I think they use more sand than salt? Is that correct? If so, I might move to Finland and my anxiety would drop by 70%
I just discovered your RU-vid channel... nice work! I've been detailing since the mid-1980s, I am the owner/operator of WaxWorks Automotive Detailing in Marlborough, Massachusetts, USA. I've detailed everything from fire trucks to Ferraris. I subscribe to many detailing channels to keep learning about the craft.
Hello , really enjoyed watching the detail . But if I may notice something, did you wait for 12 hours after coating to apply the Cure ? Because I asked their customer service and they told me to wait for an hour before applying a CanCoat , but 12 hours for Cure ... Cheers
I would have rinsed the wheels off after using the iron cleaner before washing with a sponge ect. Secondly, would have completed 2 snow foam applications before using a cleaning aid ie sponge on paint work. Decontamination is the most important part of any detailing. Everything else looks fine. 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
@@ejoautovideos thanks for sharing. Living in Iceland we do have lots of similarities when it comes to cleaning cars during summer and not to mention winter with all its dirt. So, learning a lot from you and looking forward to future videos 🙂.
First of all how can your car be so dirty I couldn't even use a car that is so filthy how do you sit in that every single day talk about cleanliness and then you're proud to show it on RU-vid
Congratulations on having the most annoying, most repetitive totally unnecessary music jingle.. Underside not undercarriage it's not an aircraft... Distilled water for the wheels.. It would make no difference.. Rinsing off paintwork yes. Alloy wheels you would never see the difference.. Ever.. Finally she will have the car looking like before after just a few days...
Lol. An "M sport" badged 3 cylinder 118i hahah That's hilarious. The weakest BMW engine that still deserves an M sport badge is the 2.0 diesel with 187hp and xdrive. If you put a stage 1 tune one it.
Definitely subscribed. I wish I had a garage because after this I just want to leave my car in there and not drive so it stays perfect …until I want to unleash it lol
Nice job....it will be trashed in a month, women dont care about cars. I find gold fish crackers and spilt coffee in the car every week. I dont clean it no more.
