I AM SO HAPPY FOR THIS GENTLEMAN. HE IS FROM THE GENERATION THAT SACRIFICED EVERYTHING FOR FAMILY AND COUNTRY. AND I BET TO THIS DAY HE WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. MUCH RESPECT TO YOU SIR🙏
That's a beautiful looking 55 Belair. That's such a nice gift. I still have my 55 Nomad that I got from 1974 and still enjoy taking it out once in a while. He looks happy and thoes memories are priceless.
That car is absolutely beautiful your grandfather is going to be so proud of that he is so lucky to have good grandkids and you're lucky to have a good grandpa 2
You have so clearly the best Pop's in the world.....His ear to ear smile said it all..... Also, that generation are the best because they've been and seen so much. The very best is America. God bless you all.
Very nice! I purchased a 1956 Chevy Belair (327, Cragar mag wheels, tear drop hood scoop, etc) painted metal flake green with a black vinyl roof which was popular at that time. After I came back from Vietnam and left the army hospital, I purchased a brand new, just released 1970 Plymouth Duster. I rolled it over and totaled it, and that's why I bought the '56 Chevy. Some great memories with my girl friend who would become my wife in 1971. I'm 74 years-old and I wouldn't have been able to contain my joy...I would have burned rubber out of the parking lot! LOL!!!
I love the 55 best out of the tri 5 group. The 55 looks good in ANY color or two tone. When I car looks great is any color then you know it's the body of the car that attracts the eye.
What a blessing ! I had a 55 2 dr hardtop my senior year 1965 and kept for 14 years! He is very fortunate to have a Grand Daughter that loves him that much! 8:53
My dad loved a 55 Belair 2 door hardtop, I was going to buy him one for retirement , but he passed away at 64, gods plans where different than mine I guess ! Thanks for all dad, love you and always will ! Ill see you again one day !!
Your are an amazing grand couple that's flawless.Pops riding clean tag, insurance, red interior, budnick rims and that motor sounds good LS or not that car looks straight out of am ATL shop!❤❤🤘✊
LS swaps make the cars so much more drivable and affordable to actually drive. I'm a huge fan of that car and that particular engine that car would of came with but realistically it got terrible fuel mileage, it stank, it won't run on e85 for long and it's a maintenance nightmare compared to an LS.
Sure, because that is what every 85 year old grandpa needs; a shiny fighter jet with wheels.....by the way, EVERYBODY is getting emotional... P.S. That is one freaking nice car...
Gorgeous ride! It appears to be a staggered set up. What size are the tires on the front and back? What brand of wheels? I would like to do the same for my dad.
