Did the same shit.... lmao.... I have a 4 yr old and would need to get out a pad n pen to calculate how many months she is bc I haven't said months since she was 18 months.... after that it became "she's a little over a year and a half" up til she was "almost 2"..... I don't understand these ppl 😅
It’s a habit that comes with parent hood and she does it to just do it. (The pediatricians often ask by months or ask you to keep track of which month is which, for growth reasons and they stop asking for month updates when the child is 4-5 depending of growth progression.)
I used to do it when I babysat 3-4 years olds, as all of the parents requested I keep a log of everything so when the next appointment for their kid(s) come around, for anything they need to ask questions about.

too old for them to be spoken about in damn months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 24 months is 2yrs, so 30 months is basically 2yrs 6 months or 2 1/2 like a normal person. 36 months is 3 yrs old. 48 mths is 4 yrs old.

I know I might sound like an annoying person but its her kid and she can refer to her age however she wants so I feel like people should just accept that she wants to refer to Izzy by the months and not years
