Ms. Gisa interviews children's book author, Michelle Markel, and illustrator, Amanda Hall about their book Out Of This World: The Surreal Art of Leonora Carrington. This book is a great introduction to art history and surrealism for kids. Michelle and Amanda give examples of art projects that teachers can have children create when learning about Leonora Carrington and famous artists. Wonderful book for teaching art history to preschoolers and elementary students.
