Thanks Yash. You‘re describing exactly what I did 20 years ago to get out of my miserable condition. I didn‘t know anything about this stuff before. My intuition kind of guided me then. The great thing was it really did work immediately and I was shown this great power and love I would never think was really existing. That was the greatest thing a human can ever experience, to have an actual personal encounter with this power that is always there for us if we truly are asking for help. The thing is that someone normally turns the attention to this possibility when you are deep deep in trouble otherwise you are not serious enough to try this kind of deep surrender.

Im deep in awakening if we want to use terms. But i realize i had a great distraction, doing creative writing compulsively thinking it was going to make me rich... sounds stupid, but it was an obsession. I need to singly focus on the divine ❤ peace yash

I’m currently surrendering how to make money or find good employment. I can’t do it myself but at the same time nothing is happening at all. 26 and still live my parents. I know I’m lucky to be spending time with them but I just want my own place. I have a worthless degree and can’t find anything stable. I’m even admitting I don’t even care about passions anymore I just need some income. I often get confused because I am putting in effort in and admitting I can’t do this without gods help and every time I surrender by not chasing it it’s months of just stagnation

Thanks, I can totally relate. I've been fortunate to have been able to kick my smoking addiction after 16 years and several attempts to stop. I'm acutely aware that "I" didn't make that happen, but also that I did. I didn't literally pray for help, although I think it will definitely not hurt to do that, but my "larger" self knows all this stuff and knows if I want to and ought to lose this habit, even if I'm not folding my hands going "Please God, ...". So all it needs is my sincere acknowledgement of that and that I need help. I feel that many religions and dogmatic systems of spiritual development has this problem of getting too caught up in the formalities of prayer or chanting or eating habits, etc. to point where it's hard to see the forest because of all the trees that are in the way. At least that's my point of view, but I'm also not very good with dogma in general :) Not trying to put down any way of doing things, but just to make the point that in my experience it's the underlying intention and feeling that matters exclusively. The rest, that is how you get to surrendering, is just techniques of implementation of which you can make up your own or adopt some "tried and true" methods, it doesn't really matter as long as it feels right to you.

Thank you yash for such a great video. My father's brother was a sex addict. He had affairs with multiple women by giving them money and atlast he became addicted to alcohol. He died due to overusage of alcohol. All my relatives always scolded him that it was his fault and even i also thought that he did not have willpower. But now i can relate to him, how powerless he was, now i can understand him and have compassion for him. I misunderstood him. He was addicted to alcohol and also he did not marry. He died in 2014 at the age of 42. He had a very painful death. All the relatives told that this was all because of him. But now i can understand how much pain and suffering he had faced internally. I learnt my lesson that we should never judge a person based on external reality. To the external world he was an addict, but on the internal he tried and struggled as much as he could to quit the addiction. He was such a good man. He helped many people in the village. The only problem he had was addictions. No female desired him and that was why he became like this in the end. I think he would been reincarnated as a new human being now, atleast in this new life may he have all the happiness and peace he deserves❤️❤️❤️

The thought to not desire is also desiring alan watts had a way with words too surrender without wanting it is what leads to surrender but here comes the mind saying " i will achieve surrendering by not wanting to surrender." You sit long enough alone in the quiet and you start to observe this foolishness the mind creates

Hey Yash, thanks for your work. I just had an interesting thought. It feels like god is working through you to get these messages to me because i can digest them. Im on a much lower level than you but i think thats on purpose. For context im an american college student who is still working with desires of women/bodybuilding/pot/alcohol. Because im so close to these things i can relate very deeply to my friends who are dealing with the same stuff but are not yet ready to deal with your teachings. They would dismiss it as woo woo spiritual nonsense. But i can translate some of the knowledge you drop to them. Have gotten 4 of my friends to get on semen retention and am helping them w their journey. Its funny seeing the knowledge funnel down through people from the most high. Also another thing I thought was interesting was that last year i was on the comedown of a brutal mushroom trip where i sobbed and sobbed like i hadnt in years. Was completely hollowed out. Then the universe led me to watch one of your videos on surrender. In that state i was able to actually absorb the message properly. Just thought it was an interesting synchronicity. Thanks for your work, its helped me on my journey immensely.
