1 reason your ministry is so powerful/effective is you have a gift of breaking down topics & even verses that seem aloof or far off or complicated & you break them down in such a practical way. And demonstration! And what some of the difficult to understand scriptures actually mean & how to implement them!! In a practical way! (Which is an area I’m not good at..there’s definitely room for improvement/revival for me in that area haha!!) With the things of God, you sometimes have to break through a veil/yoke in an area 1st & THEN you see breakthrough. (Like putting in the groundwork or “tilling” up the soil BEFORE seeds are planted to maximize the harvest) So many of your videos, they 1st present the issue (& where we are prone to misunderstanding), & THEN establish the effect/solution!! (Which is almost always you reminding people to just go back to the cross!! To faith!!! And to let HIM carry us! & not the other way around!! Exalting JESUS!! & not religion or a cult or yourSELF!! But JESUS!!! ✝️✨⚔️ “You’re doing too much, you’re messing stuff up.” (In a sense) “Instead, let The LORD work! As you just behold Jesus! & let His Holy Spirit swoop in & fill in the cracks & help.. as we walk by FAITH!”) It’s helpful & beneficial to keep reminding ourselves of that & keeping our mind set on The SPIRIT! Some of these topics & verses you approach.. I wouldn’t even know how to begin teaching on them!! Or what some of the big words even mean!..Come to think of it, I haven’t seen teachings/explanations by ANYONE on some of these verses you break down!! (& I’ve watched a lot of sermons & studies over the years..lol) Sometimes they’re also verses that are completely “guessed at” & misunderstood.. which often makes us fear God or make Him feel far off or like we could never achieve Him or closeness to Him!!! (Which is NOT TRUE!! If we would remember The Truth Of The Gospel!! The Truth Of God’s Word says Jesus BOUGHT US closeness with The Father!!!.. (& meets us at The Mercy Seat!!!)) We fear the unknown..& assume it’s intimidating or “must require so much exhausting work to get there..” So when you take some of them & break them down & show what He’s actually talking about & how to practically apply it in our PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM^!.. & we keep seeing it always just comes back to the cross!! & that we can’t & could never “accomplish it” all by the work of OUR hands anyway! It puts us right back into FAITH & into being amazed with Jesus!! And His GOOD nature!!..it’s just super powerful!! It shows us more of His heart & nature & reminds us of His Goodness!! (Which leads us to repentance ANYWAY! It just WORKS! His system just WORKS! Most of the time, EFFORTLESSLY!!) When we, again & again, keep being transformed by the renewing of our minds onto what He’s ACTUALLY saying in the verses! & how He meant.. it seems to ALWAYS be BETTER NEWS than the initial misunderstanding!.. Which leads to REVIVAL! ✨📖✝️🌅🕊️✨
I listen to you daily and I am blessed by your ministry and what God is doing in your life. I have a testimony that I am bursting to share. I was raped at work while on duty and the federal government that I worked for turned the scenario around and said, I raped the man. The government did not want to take responsibility for putting this individual on my caseload so they said I raped him. I was arrested on my way home from LA Fitness on the charges of sexual abus. I was put in jail by my employer And 2 1/2 years later, I went to trial with a full jury where I was found innocent. Now (July 2024) 12 -1/2 years later I just received compensation which was only pennies. My entire story of what the government did and how the FBI planted false evidence in my rape kit is overwhelming. After years of wanting to die from humiliation and losing everything, last week, I stood on capital Hill and told my story in front of an audience and some members of Congress. I am fighting with lobbyist to have the compensation increased for victims of sexual assault While on duty. I see light at the end of the tunnel and no one can tell me there is not a God.
Thank you Troy for this teaching. After we surrender that which we were wanting, when do we know what God is wanting to do? How do you know if it is the Lord's desire vs my own?
depends on who you ask. Because husband covers wife as Christ covered church, and because husband answers to Christ for how he treats his wife, and kids (and animals), some believe that God speaks to husband and not wife. The Bible gives examples of women God spoke to directly. Hannah. Abigail. Samson's mother. Rebecca. Jochabed. Deborah. Mary. Anna. Mary Magdalene. They prove that God speaks to women as well as men.
