If there’s one thing I can say about Dave it is that he is a very honest decent bloke… he has said his whole career he has been a walker… if he felt he hit it he would have walked hands down as simple as that. I’ve seen him do it time and time again this year as he did in fact a few overs later.

Unlucky result due to the weather Andy. Great hitting from Gaino, and good opening bowling partnership with Willie and Guy. Reckon you might have got them out in those 9 remaining overs. Then the heavens opened. See you next game..Dave

Thanks Dave. Yes it was unlucky to not get those extra points by such a narrow margin. I would have said we were by far the better team on the day and if it were a normal game we would have won for sure

He has indeed. Very enjoyable watching him in full flow. You can see the opposition start trembling in a way as they don’t know what to do next because everything is getting smashed miles. Even a miss hit from Gaino is more powerful than most timing it

Yeah totally agree it was looking to be a great game. If it were a normal game I’d have said we looked comfortable to win it…. Very frustrating to them get a losing draw by 0.7 of a run! Yep it’s been done at all levels so definitely can’t feel too bad

Yep quite! Ridiculous really… oh well it is what it is we have definitely learnt from it to get the right result next time
