[Surrey] 'Neon-Green' American LaFrance Fire Engines With Lights & Siren!

Captured here are several 1999 American LaFrance fire engines of the Surrey Fire Service, which are in service to this day as spare trucks. The old trucks still feature Surrey's discontinued 'neon-green' livery, which has long been replaced by a more common red and white color scheme. You will also see several of the newer fire trucks responding to various calls together with the old spare engines.

I didn’t realize either lol which is why I decided to put this together. And yes, but they are STILL around and being used (just saw one running at Hall 4 a few weeks ago)! 😄

If you go to Pennsylvania in the US, you will see all different color fire trucks, including orange black blue and I believe even purple. Also, is Medic Engine the same thing as Los Angeles County Fire Department squard units (Paramedics)

@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses ohne Scheiss, die sind sehr gastfreundlich! Ich habe in der Region Harrisburg auch mal 3 Monate auf einer Feuerwache verbracht und konnte sogar am Einsatzdienst teilnehmen. Also probier doch mal so ne Art couchhopping bei verschiedenen companys! LG

@@firefighterluggl Das glaube ich gerne! Bis jetzt waren fast alle Feuerwehren bei denen ich weltweit zu Besuch war sehr gastfreundlich. Das Problem ist das ich meistens nicht so viel Zeit zum reisen und warten habe, und deswegen in kürzester Zeit so viel wie möglich filmen muss! 😅

I’ve seen the earliest prototypes of the first ever fire truck made by the same company at Marietta GA fire museum, which was next to an actual fire station! 😁

I grew up in Surrey. I always thought the paint scheme was unique. When they switched to red, I thought it was kind of boring - my unpopular opinion is that they should've gone to black over neon-green. :)
