Surrogacy 

Surrogacy is the process of a woman carrying a pregnancy and giving birth
on behalf of another woman. Another term for surrogacy is "Womb Rental"
Surrogacy is legal in many countries these days. There are two types of surrogacy.
1. IVF/Gestational surrogacy- This means that the commissioning couple are using their own egg and sperm.
In this case, the offspring is not genetically related to the surrogate mom.
2. Traditional/ Natural surrogacy- This means the surrogate is contributing some genetic material such as her own egg to the process.
Natural surrogacy could be achieved via IUI or direct insemination.
IVF/Gestational surrogacy is usually the focus for most fertility clinics.
