Hi, I have watched some surströmming videos and in Sweden we eat it together with flat bread with mashed potatoes, sour cream, chopped chives and red onion and it tastes really good then. Next time try to opened it under water in a bucket. ;-)
Many people do not eat "blue cheese /Roquefort/Gorgonzola" couse it's a rotten cheese... Can I trust this one if Swedish themselves are disgusted... 🙄 By the way I'm here becouse I bought for my first time a dry makarel fish from an Ukrainian store in Italy. More or less my reaction was like that..

depends on the person, my father for instance loves eating stuff like that such as roquefort cheese, meanwhile i gag when i smell it and struggle eating peas and a day old cooked steak lol.
