This clerk endangered so many peoples live in this instance over 2 dollars he should be in jail for 10+ years. Shooting at a vehicle in an open parking lot in the middle of a neighborhood, what if some innocent person gets caught in the crossfire? what if someone in their house behind the car he is shooting at gets hit? Or a random car driving by and they get hit? Or the girl that walked out right before the clerk did gets caught in the crossfire? He also has no idea who is in that car, for all he knows there could be kids in the backseat, if anyone deserves to be thrown in jail it is the clerk.
@@JoshDragRace0688 what people did he endanger no people around lol he should be charged for not killing that dude stop making excuses for bad people if you find someone breaking into your home and stealing. your solution is to let them go its not about the money right of course you will say that is different its not so if 100 kids go into his store and steal 2 dollars worth of item its still ok right it all adds up and that is their livelihood also the same could be said about the kid he risked his life for 2 dollars and you should be in jail for 10 years for your stupidity 🤡
@@stevenauldridge2679 it is unlawful to shoot someone over property. Just let it go and call the cops, or you will spend the rest of your life in jail for murder.
Wait since the store worker shot first; shouldn't he be brought up on charges also. I mean the guy was dead wrong for stealing, but it escalated when he shot first. He wasn't in any visible danger and all he had to do was take the license plate and call the police. Lives in danger over a soda.
@@Q_Sosa If he comes back he gets what he gets; but to be shot in the back for a soda.....idk, but if he gets shot, and his boys comes back for retaliation then what? I ain't crying for anybody, but to shoot the man in the back indicates to the cops that he was leaving a situation and his life wasn't threatened so the guy can be charged. Depends on the basic "Stand Your Ground" laws.
@@legendsflashback exactly people don't understand. Someone steals a soda you gotta start blasting away, forget innocent bystanders. That soda is what's important.
If you read deeper into the story, you'll see that the store clerk had been robbed several other times that month. Yes, the drinks are only a few dollars, but he was sick of being taken advantage of. The police wouldn't take stolen drinks and food that seriously, so he finally did something about it.
Good 🤣🤣 being up north the clerks had no guns can’t bust back and have to just pray they don’t get shot up or robbed down here everybody busting back so before you think you shouldn’t die over 1$ think again 😁. I’m letting the whole clip go if you wrong me
@@prmisgrptech4481 Lmao huh? There’s ton of clerks with guns up north, it just seems like people up north have more trigger discipline and know human life is a bit more valuable than a soda pop
@@brojamessistertrise5289 Stealing "A" soda huh? How many a day steal "A" soda? Actually stealing jobs, entire businesses. Loss of an entire employees wages a day means they let a employee go, so there's a family not eating. When they can't cut expenses by letting go employees they no longer have they start eating into the business until there's nothing left to allot, lock the doors. That's what "A" soda does with you maggots thinking your 1 stolen soda can't hurt anything. Damn right a M'F'er is going to defend themselves and their property. Most of the hood stores do. This was probably one in the suburbs. The black guy probably didn’t even live there. He was probably on his way to a court case or maybe selling some stolen goods across town, so he had to stop in to steal a soda real quick.
Don't know the law in this state but in some, it goes from the store defending property to now becoming a self defense case for the passengers of the vehicle that the thief was in. Crazy right?
Well the robbery is what caused a murder in result the ppl who did the robbery will be charged with murder. Crazy right? But it happens cause if they never attempted the robbery he wouldn't have had used the gun. Etv
What type of animal steals a soda? So many people here overlooking the original offense... Yes, it was wrong to shoot over the theft, but maybe don't steal?

This is the third time this gas station on sunrise has been on the news for shooting. One of the clerks killed a robber in the past, and just a few months ago there was an attempt robbery where the clerk shot back....dangerous area

its not first time and last time for this man stealing, so he will deserve whatever comes, no matter what im 100% support the store owner for people stands on the criminal side go the hell
For something that petty store clerk had no business shootin at him just call the police and show them the camera and let them do the justice, instead of takin justic into his own hand, which could of cost him his life.
@@dylantedlock9481 Doesn't matter. The clerk shooting first has no reason to. You can only shoot in "self defence." Learn your laws. The guy stealing is a petty crime compared to shooting someone. Sure, the guy who stole will be charged with theft, but not attempted murder.
You really want to open fire on someone for a soda? Let me ask you a question anyone who fires a weapon on anyone without proper interpretation of the situation would be legal. What he did was attempting to murder someone.
😂 I own a business. What that clerk did was stupid and reckless. He had a cctv footage that he could give to the police. The man stole less than 5 dollars worth of merchandise. Is it worth killing or severely injuring someone for that? The clerk and thief both almost loss their lives off stupid actions. If he broke into my house or even car then okay! But to be a clerk to shoot at someone who didn’t pose an immediate threat is beyond stupid. I own a business and when someone steal I call the police. Nothing is worth more than my life.

From state to state laws are different. In Cali the clerk has no rights and broke the law worse because the thief was already several feet away from store allowing the thief more rights than the clerk. Out in Texas you dont see too much petty theft because store owners carry arms.
Not sure where you learning your firearms and/or self defense laws... but in any state that clerk could be found guilty of several charges. You can't just chase after people and later decide to shoot them aimlessly over shoplifting a couple of items totaling less than $10. He's a fool.
@@FroggyHopScotch30 definitely shouldn’t be able to shoot anyone in the back for stealing something out of a gas station. I mean some things should come as common sense. Shoot someone ? Over a soda ?

Did he just shoot at this guy for stealing a soda? Good way to send yourself to prison, there's in nothing in the law that will justify that so enjoy that felony over a soda.

May be the store clerk was very upset by a very rampant and repeated looting. The law must not protect the looters. Whatever happens after the looting, the thief or the thieves should be held accountable.
