I made a camping Bowie knife from 5160 leaf spring, got a large piece from a scrap yard for 20$ my guess it's from a old truck or something heavy
handle is read oak and I just stained it till it was dark to my liking
it's about 13 inches over all length with a 8 1/2 inch blade and 5 inch handle,
