Strick is back for a new Survival Challenge Series! He's re-visiting different survival stories while travelling up the remote stretches of the Great Barrier Reef. There's tales of heroic survival against all odds, and some tragic endings... Join him in the exact location of these scenarios to test his own survival skills and share their crazy stories.
I make a huge mistake in this one! This is a Survival Challenge which almost ends in real life tragedy...
Complacency got the better of me in Croc country and I almost came unstuck... I wasn't sure if I was going to release this footage because I feel like a bit of an idiot. But hope that it might serve as a reminder for others to not make the same mistake I did.

Hey Strict, I think you have discovered a gem here. There are countless RU-vidrs doing survival videos. However, telling a real life survival story in the exact location is super fascinating and brings the reality to survive straight home. I would watch as many as you could post. Super interesting! Born and raised in FL. Alligators and Crocs are very common on certain beaches. I absolutely love how derpy yet terrifying they are.

@@oosmosmoo That is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. 1. Ocean currents can wash up rubbish to the most remote of islands 2. Why would he go overbudget to an island that is more remote even though the video will pretty much be the same? 3. He literally said at the start of the video that he was doing the challenge based of where that plane had crashed.

One thing, the WW2 pilots weren't going to find any full plastic water bottles. If you would have told one that one day they would sell drinking water in a bottle they would look at you like you were crazy.

Used to get these types of survival/story series in the uk (Ray Mears) absolute delight to be able to watch the same type of thing many years on, on YT. As many have said keep these going!

The soldiers back in WWII wouldn't have had the benefit of such luck regarding the fresh water. I think it would be better to operate on those lines to keep it closer to their plight at that time. They wouldn't have had the 'benefit' of such refuse wash up on shore either.

I've visited Australia a couple of time and have to say, Baramundi is one of the finest eating fish on the planet. Morton Bay Bugs are also an Aussie treat.

unbelievable the amount of rubbish on the beach . We found the same thing in 2003 exploring the northern coastline As for lures we found a big green and yellow one stuck in the tail of a very much alive crock . A lot of the rubbish looked like it had been thrown over the side

Maan look how patient hunters crocodiles are. This animals are way better hunters than i thought. Extremly dangerous. Now i understand why so many people get killed by them going closer to the waters edge.
