Where do we add the personal quest to a character? And where do we apply the effect when it is completed?

So when pray-tell for the new 5e update are you gonna start working on a dark sun update? Lemme make this clear wizards of the coast and hasbro 3 years minimum work on the update don’t get lazy find a diverse and creative team of people to make this. The core themes of dark sun and the setting actually would hit very well with new players to d and d also don’t act all high and mighty slavery is a thing in the realms, if you are even considering updating this setting or sell the rights off for it to kobold press and let them update it people want to go back to athas it’s not problematic and it would be a awesome setting to go back to but you need to give it development time and the resources it needs for it to be released you can’t just slap it together in a few months it needs time to be done well and how do I and most d and d fans know you want to do dark sun again, the defiler in spelljammer the athasian monsters in spelljammer and the leaked athas space planet for spelljammer, start the work on dark sun now we know you can do it well but DO NOT rush it out give it the time it needs to make athas or dark sun the best setting book you’ve done since ebberon.

Currently running a Drakkenheim campaign. Great factions, great monsters and a city that functions as an enormous dungeon. Give it a try people!

My group has two campaigns running at a time, where each DM/GM runs every other session so as to give time for preparation and avoid burnout. I am queuing up to run Dungeons of Drakkenheim when one of the campaigns ends. I still have at least a few months, but that gives me time to get ready. I am really looking forward to it, as are the others in the group. Given the nature of this adventure it would be best to have at least some familiarity with most of it overall so I can better "wing it" as needed.

Im about 6 sessions in to my Drakkenheim campaign. Its my first time DM'ing. I felt the same exact way about wanting to prepare. The module book really streamlines alot of things and has great descriptions for monsters/environments. Id also recommend skimming thru the Dungeon Dudes first campaign episodes that correspond to where you are in your game. Monty's descriptors genuinely help get you in the mindset. Hope you have fun!
