Hello my friend! Thanks for showing me a very interesting video! It was a wonderful forest in Malta! I really enjoyed it! It's wonderful! Thank you for sharing! Have a nice day!
Many years ago, in fact I think it would have been either 1979 or 81, Maltese friends of ours took us to Buskett Gardens Roadhouse for the Sunday show and tea. The place was packed. Mary Spiteri was the main entertainment. A good time was had by all! Very happy memories of a fabulous family holiday. Keep up the good work Steve, xx

Alone in the woods & survived ☺.. You're lucky Steve you didn't meet the Big Bad Wolf 🏃🐺 🎄🌿 😂. Last time I was there it was over 50yrs ago, for "IMNARJA NIGHT". THANKS for the lovely stroll🚶🎥👏 Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ™
@@EnglishmaninMalta Don't blame you looking over your shoulder Steve , it's known to be a HAUNTED area 👻 👩 😂. BTW, mentioning Maggie Thatcher, VALE SIR DAVID AMESS 🙏. Tragic, Sad 😔. Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ™

Hi, yes nice walks etc in Busket, We usually go there each time we visit and end up for coffee at the Busket Roadhouse. Thanks for all the info on it ,Steve. 👍
A very enjoyable video and Buskett Woodlands looks a lovely place. I enjoyed this video very much ant its amazing to think the Knights walked through that area.
Nice video Steve. I remember walking through Buskett 'Forest' 40+ years ago, and seeing the oranges growing. Had a Xmas lunch once at the restaurant there too, treated by our boss. IIRC didn't PM Dom Mintoff host Col. Gaddafi at the Verdala Palace, I seem to remember seeing the Libyan flag flying there.
I did not know about this place Steve, it looks beautiful 😍 and I do love a good ghost story 👻 I must try and find your other video that you filmed here

Steve, thank you for your replies, but although you might be right in that Malta was covered with trees, it would seem like you never replied to my question "....And if I may ask how did they use to transport the ships and galleons?...."
Just that I did not understand it ?? why would they transport ships and galleons ? I can not see what you are getting at ?? I am no historian just what I read , No idea what point you are trying to make ?
Hi Steve good video mate really enjoyed it.We have just got back of a week's holiday in Malta loved it .Was going to get in touch with you but I know you are busy .Maybe next year mate and have a cisk .Keep up the good video's mate cheers 👍👍
Let me put it this way than: Why would the knights chop trees at Buskett to make way for the building of galleons and ships? That might have been so, but I am mostly interested to learn from where did you read this? Am not a historian either, but still am prepared to learn more.
The knights cut a lot of trees to build ships and galleons??? This is news to me. And if I may ask how did they use to transport the ships and galleons?
Learnt something new today. Didn't know there were woodlands in Malta. It looks a nice walk for people steady on their feet. The bridge looked in good condition, wonder what's on top of it. Was nice to hear the trickling water. Stay dry next week xx
There are many walk ways all around, good for allsort of people, maybe that one i took is a little adventurous, but there are easier, thank you for the comments
Hi Steve, nice area to visit when you need a green wooded walk in Malta. I like the colder months to visit when the water is running but it's interesting all year round. cheers 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the walk through Buskett Gardens , what a lovely woodlands area you have uncovered, the bridge looks in good nick, it’s a bit lonely in there tho, watch out for snakes Steve, yes know what you mean about Maltese/ Italians being loud, they end up deaf later with all that shouting.
You can ask him the prime minister why I can’t get a passport as I wasn’t quick enough because they had a cut off and I’m born there but if i have loads of money i can buy it 😡 keep up the good work 🙏
Great video Steve, love Buskett Woodlands, have had a wander about the lovely area, but never came across the bridge at 7.38, but I guess we may have taken a different path, there are many to choose from. We went by bus here, driver dropped us off at the entrance and told us what time to be back, so we were clock-watching a bit, next time we'll go up in the car, give us more time. Thanks again, always good to see lovely parts of Malta off the beaten track.
Yes its always difficult when time restricted at a new place until you know where your going, but please go again when you have more time ! There are many paths
I really enjoyed this Steve. I look forward to Sunday mornings, having my breakfast and watching the video you put out during the night ( Sydney time).Very relaxing , felt like I was on the walk too. Take care. Thanks Steve.
Friends in Malta took me to Buskett years ago, and joked that this was the Black Forest of Malta. I live near the real Black Forest (Schwarzwald) in south-west Germany. It is huge, dense, but all pines, firs and other conifers. Buskett is beautiful in its own way, with a much bigger variety of trees. And in a much better climate zone. I am dreading another freezing winter here, with insane heating costs.
Ey up. The bridge was used for getting the knights horses and hunters into the forest. There's a lovely chateau buskett there for evening entertainment in a lovely moonlight setting. And mgaar I xini is beautiful. I cliff dived there. Very deep inlet for the knights ships.but do not use the restaurant guys, it's horribly filthy! Good luck everyone! Have a nice weekend.
