You should take a look at From the Depths. It can be a bit complex at times, but you can have vehicles with FULL AI, and they actually blow up rather than get scratched. Plus, plenty of Workshop stuff to try out. Planes, Boats, Submarines, Helicopters, Airships, Tanks
Another fun fact: There were three main classes that were planned to be bigger than HIJN Yamato, which came in at 263 meters, but never made it to production. 1. The Montana Class Battleship. Made by the U.S, the Montana class would be 17 meters longer than Yamato, at 280 meters long. Yamato displaced 65,000 tons, Montana would displace 70,000. 2. The KMS H41. Essentially a scaled up Bismarck, H41 was 282 meters long, and displaced 68,000 tons. For anyone who decided to scroll down, you get lucky! Bonus Information: HIJN Musashi, sister to HIJN Yamato, was marginally larger than Yamato. Sadly, I can't find information for just how much larger she was.
The Yamato was the flagship of the Yamato class of Japanese Battleship, one of the biggest on the seas of her time. She was built with her sister ship, the battleship called Musashi. Built by the Kure Naval Arsenal, she was 836 feet long and weighed 72,800 tons. Laid down on the 4th of November 1937, she was launched August 8th, 1940, and commissioned December 16th, 1941. The Yamato was named after the Yamato Province in Japan, she was Japan’s only hope of destroying the allied fleets off the coast of Okinawa, she was outfitted with 9 18.1-inch cannons. However, without the proper air covering and fuel her last assignment was doomed to be a suicide mission, struck by 19 American Arial Torpedoes the crew of the mighty Yamato watched and fought back in horror is their ship sunk. 2,498 men out of the 3,332 crew members died that day. They didn’t go down without a fight however, the Yamato went into battle as a “naked battleship” without any cover from aircraft, after only two hours of fighting the Yamato and 5 other Japanese ships had been sunk, over 4,000 people lost their lives in the battle. It took 10 American aircraft to sink the mighty battleship. Today the Yamato is seen as the most feared battleship in the Japanese navy in WWII.
@@toonvantatenhove7283 it was actually bombed multiple times before the torpedoes hit, the aerial bombardment by the Americans resulted in the magazine detonation.
bit of history: IJN Yamato was sunk a few miles off the coast of Okinawa during the massive US invasion. She was part of Operation Ten-Go and was supposed to beach herself and act as a massive floating fortress. US submarines spotted her and her task force which resulted in over 300 US aircraft to launch and attack the fleet. Yamato was hit so much that the japanese attempted to counter flood the other side but that only bought the ship around 30 mins of life before she capsized and broke in two from the largest magazine detonation on any warship. This detonation was caused by loose shells colliding with each other and the sides of the magazine.
Fun fact, the Yamato was sunk by over 200 aircraft since it was the largest battleship ever built on the planet with guns that weigh more than a fletcher class destroyer
Hey, Cam? How does it feel, to be on WW2's most powerful battleship, huh? Here, you're the captain of the IJNS Yamato, the colossal 75000 ton giant, the pride of Imperial Japan...
This ship had one weakness... It was vulnerable to air attacks. The American forces knew this, and that's why, both Musashi and Yamato were sunk by like, 200 fighter jets.
guess they found out my favorite ship. And yes i know all the history about this ship ;D.If someone wants to know where i learnt that from, this is the game: World Of Warships :))))
day 8 of telling Camodo gaming to become spec ops and try to take out tanks commanders and boats and try to defend the island with O.B and Spycakes Camodo i love your videos and i really want you to do it so please someone like this so Camodo sees this.
The yamato class battleships where the biggest battleships ever built the ship was sunk by 400 us aircraft yamato also only got to fire its cannons once using the main cannons to destroy a us aircraft carrier soon it was set on a mission it was called "oporastion ten go" that was when yamato met her fate she was hit on port side alot she capsized and turret's one ammo rack detonated as is lised 92 degrees i think
They send 350 AIRCRAFT to sink yamato that's crazy just to know how big yamato was and how think that steel was about 3 feet thick the most powerful battleship of its time. They struggled to sink the ship but with the thick armor they where getting stressed. 18 inch guns weighing about 200 tons each bullets where 1.1 tons. The whole ship itself weighing 73000 TONS. Very powerful ship😮😮😮
