Endured so much. U all are a credit to yourselves. Loving Mom is always a plus. I had my appendix removed at 9. No issues untill at 19 ! Infection broke out on my abdomen. My dr. Also a surgeon said had been infected since surgery. Finally recently found a single similar case online medically documented. How weird is that? Thx for sharing, helps others to make choice fir best care.

In 2011 I all but died from a burst mass near my appendix. Drs basically ignored me after a week of agony so I got an ambulance and they took me 100km away to proper care. Had surgery next morning soon as possible. I was on verge of septicemia and death. Was told it had been burst best part of a week because of all the infection and *crap* inside the cavity. Still have nightmares about it as it was all so traumatic. Was in so much pain that week I just wanted to die... and nearly got my wish. Also... at first they had no idea what it was from the scan but "large mass" sends shivers down your spine. They didn't mention cancer... but said they won't know until they open me up. Thank god I was on heaps of morphine. Single dad of a 7 yo daughter at the time... so was not a good time to die.
