@@TheTundraTerror The fact feminists or women in general aren't the most hardcore 2A advocates ever is fucking bizarre to me. Why wouldn't a woman want a way to easily defend herself against men?
3 guys broke in my home 12 years ago and held a gun to my head. Me and my pregnant girlfriend were laying on the floor for probably 10-15 minutes. One guy was kneeling on my back with his gun pushing my face in the floor and the other 2 were going through everything. Scary stuff for sure. I didn't own guns then, but i have a bunch now and go through 10k rounds or more a year.
@thesultanofswing8706 Yeah. 2 of them got 22 years and 1 of them got 27 years. They hit up a few houses over a couple nights. They threw on some kidnapping charges on top of the obvious charges.
Our house was burglarized about 16 years ago in the morning when we were at work. That scarred me for a while, and made me paranoid. I fine now, but a couple times years later we got home and I felt something wasn’t right, so I cleared the house before the wife and kids came in. I can’t imagine what you guys are going through. Hope you guys are doing ok.
@@BertieW0oster True, I'm not saying they are. I'm coming from a standpoint that everyone is different, different genes, different body types, different health issues. And because of this we all act different. We all know a quiet person (or more than 1), however give them a couple beers and suddenly they become the life of the party. We all know (at least most) someone (or more than 1) that acts different when they are drinking beer vs liquor, we all know at least most someone that's mellow when they are high and extremely intense if they are drunk, and the list goes on! Should we walk down memory lane of 2020 - 2022, we all know or heard of 90 year old that got sick with the virus and passed away, and we all know or heard of 90 year old that got sick with the virus and the sickness was weaker for them than the common cold!
@@BertieW0oster some people just get stupid when they’re drunk, especially college kids like she said. It’s not an excuse it’s just a fact for some people that never would have done that otherwise. It explains the apology note as well rofl definitely need consequences, don’t get me wrong, but I also believe that just because someone does bad things doesn’t make them bad people automatically. There is caveats to that of course, but this was some one of situation it sounds like fuels by young schmucks drinking&whatever else without experience.
Or "NO" police at all in some small towns and villages throughout the United States... Brought to you be those who have "Defunded" the police.....The "SQUAD".
I respectfully disagree. As Americans, we all have the Second Ammendment. That's not the greatest equalizer. A loaded gun in your hand, with training as backup is the great equalizer.
I live outside of town. The average response time for the Sheriff's department for priority calls is 14:51. Imagine trying to hold off home invaders for 15 minutes.
When my parents were first dating, my father showed my mother where his handgun was stored, I think it was a ruger .44 blackhawk. My father went to work, and some robbers saw him leave and broke in to the apartment, my mother grabbed that gun, yelled through the bedroom door that she was armed, and when they continued robbing the place, ignoring her, she fired through the door, scaring them off (not hitting anyone). Who knows what would have happened if she hadn't been armed, but its a baddass moment for my mom. The cops never found the robbers, but lauded her and joked about it.
My grandmother was similar. Middle of the night, heard a weird noise, my dad was in his crib still next to her. She aimed the gun my grandfather bought for her into the dark at the foot of the bed. Before that night she was worried she'd never have the guts to defend herself, home, or my father/her son. After that night, that little switch had flipped. "If they break in, they don't value their lives, I have made my choice already" Teeny woman too, but a bat outta hell if you crossed her. I wish more people would understand breaking in WILL cost them their lives, and that people breaking in do not value their own lives
@@PIGGEBANK its dumb because it alerts them to where you are and let's them know you're a deadly threat which could just as easily got lead coming at her first.
I had a home invasion when I was in my early 20s. 2 guys broke in and were going room to room through my flat. I was on the phone with 911 when they got to my bedroom and started kicking in the door. At the time, I only had a deer rifle (300 savage) and as the door started breaking, the dispacher told me to be sure of my backstop and end the threat. I put a round through the door as the frame splintered. They guys yelled and took off. A couple of hours later, one showed up to the ER with door splinters in his face. The bullet had passed right between the two just below their shoulders. The cops never saw them even though i was on the phone for more than 5 minutes before i shot. Needless to say, I have a plethora of guns now, just in case.
When I got divorced, one of the first things I did was saved up money so I can learn safety & tactical firearms training from a local professional instructor which at the time cost over a couple of thousands of dollars. It took me over 1 year to save up for the initial instruction because I was a single mother with 2 children under 5. The training took almost a year. Today, I'm remarried to a wonderful man and all of our children started safety & tactical firearms training from the age of 7 by the same instructor.
04:45 Women are gonna learn pound for pound men are stronger than women. Her own expectations of her husband's strength was blown when he had to protect their family.
i’ve met so many girls who play wrestle w their brothers or bf and think they are just as strong and when reality hits it’s 2 completely different worlds
Got a friend that carries a .50 for work and a .45 as a sidearm/personal defense 90lbs with full tactical gear and soaking wet, she is not confused that she can't physically compete with some 300lbs 6'6 intruder with bad intentions
I got my first gun in my forties after those 2020 riots and “defund the police.” Never gave it a thought until all the crazy stuff started while we were stuck at home during that evil lockdown.
I went from being someone with more than the average Quaker levels of nonviolence and pacifism , to becoming and avid 2a advocate, because of surviving a multi person home invasion where I had to muster force to defend myself and survive. I was lucky enough to survive and come out on top, and to learn that hard reality will always trump your values, no matter how noble they seem
I know a 64 yr old woman who told me that her hubby had to go out of town for 2 weeks. It was in the middle of the night that she was woke up by a loud noise. She had to make a decision. Was she going to cower in her room waiting to see if someone was in the house or do something about it? She said, "I chose to do something about it." She swept the house like her hubby & son taught her to do with what they equipped her with. She knew every loose board & where everything in the house was so she had the advantage . Thank God that it was just that something fell & no 1 was there. But she was so glad that the men in her life made sure she could if need be take care of herself. And she said that you really don't know sometimes if you can do something untill you're faced with it.
that's why I keep telling my friends do NOT post pics you are on vacation or away for a few days because anyone who knows you may have that evil idea to raid your place while you are away. It happened to a college bud of mine many years ago. He's totally off social media because of that incident.
I like the part of the story where she describes the sound of the guys breath leaving his body, when her husband body slammed him 🤗 I loathe bullies of all sorts.
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that the apology was real, if perhaps coerced. That they were not armed, didn't run when the light came on and came back to ask for the phone... Just stupid kids. That said, who knows what would have happened if she didn't have the gun?
Could have been preemptive hoping they wouldn’t press charges, regardless of who suggested it. Manipulation basics, when caught doing something problematic, apologizing often reduces consequences since it shows remorse… too little too late in this case, they were only sorry they got caught. Until then it sounds like drunk college aged men thinking it was funny. That situation could have gone very differently for either party.
@@simiamalum5487 Yeah I tend to agree with your assessment. Hope those idiot kids learned a lesson; that situation could have escalated badly and ruined the lives of all involved.
I love this story. When I was 13 years old in the late 1950s in a small West Texas town at about 0445 in the AM, I awakened to here my mother screaming that a man had grabbed her. Apparently she had gone outside to scare what she assumed were dogs from our pet squirrel cage and a man had grabbed her. She was able to break free using a broom as a weapon. After I awoke, I grabbed my .410 shotgun that I used for hunting and ran outside. A large man was there and when he saw me he began to run toward the back of our property where there was my chicken coop, an alley and a plowed field surrounded by a barbed-wire fence. By the time that I got the safety off of the gun, the guy was at the rear of our property and I fired one round at him. I went into the house and got dressed and by that time my father had returned from work to eat breakfast and he called the sheriff. I tracked the man's foot prints to the alley and saw that my shot had blown a hole in the side of my chicken coop and at that moment the guy had varied his run to cross the alley into the plowed field. He had run through the barbed-wire fence and I found small spots of blood, presumably from the barbed-wire injuries. The sheriff arrived and after talking to my dad and mom, he took me aside and told me that if I ever had to shoot at another man, to call him right away because he might have to help me drag the body into the house to prevent having to lock me up.
Love this story of a gun owner legally defending herself, not shooting the invaders, the simple sight of the gun by the intruders had them give up! ANDDDD writes the homeowner an apology!
My wife was reticent about my firearms, I had lockers and explained ad nauseum. Now everyone is licensed including wife and daughter( she put her name on my 30-30). Firearms to along way to equalizing the fight for my ladies.
Talk about an epiphany! Her husband is one lucky man. Sorry that this family went through such an experience, though very glad that neither Mom, Dad, nor baby boy was harmed.
@@SeanBook001 I was in the same situation at work. Instant termination. But they broke in multiple times that week. They had seen me packing up to go hunting. It took my neighbors close to a week to notice the partying they were doing. My home was a mess when I got back.
Seeing you get giddy like that Mr Noir was just seratonin to me. You were so happy to get this defense story from her that it made me smile I didn't used to believe in firearms but when this beast of a man came to our neighborhood a few years ago to help us with pure intentions was very for guns for everyone, especially those that can't physically defend themselves, I understood the importance and why he was very pro gun
My wife and I have been following you since you were with the NRA, this was one of your best shows, you should do this more often if you can find people that have had experiences like this
I don’t completely disagree with what you said but if two men are of equal skill level but one is a foot taller and 100 pounds heavier my money is on the big guy.
I think there’s a common theme with people who have been victims of armed robbery, or home invasion. There’s a major sense of loss. Loss of innocence, loss of security. As someone who found themselves in an armed robbery situation, despite loving guns, it wasn’t until after that incident that got me to get my concealed carry
Women and the elderly are the people who benefit most in terms of protection by firearms. HUGE advocate for that demographic to own firearms for protection. The equalizer
I was grabbed in a parking lot one night outside of a club. I managed to get away, the guy fled and was gone by the time the bouncer set off after him. I made my purchase, got trained and received my cc license. I now have several strategically placed and chambered tools throughout my home.
She didn’t hate them her mom did and limited her access and she was privileged enough to never feel like she needed one. Thankfully she met her hubby before that happened.
more people need to hear these real stories. Colion is right you're always your first responder and police will be minutes away when seconds are so critical
I grew up in a military family dad was in the army i was not the biggest kid around (Lawton Ft Sill OK) so dad tired of me gettin beat up had some army friends teach me 1) strength training 2) how to fight fast and dirty which saw me through high school. Dad never had guns at home i started shooting with cousins back at family home West Virginia I enjoyed it a lot but never got a gun until i lived two blocks from a homeless shelter after being confronted a couple times i started shooting and have a S&W M&P9 2.0 full size and a S&W equalizer i go through 400 rounds every time i go to the range at least once a week and i am getting better every time i go . So i enjoy you vids keep up the good fight !
Hk USP excellent selection and the Expert st that👍 You never know when the unexpected will happen. Being prepared to respond is critical, your life and others depend on it.
Dude, few videos on RU-vid are truly fulfilling and make me smile. This one just took the cake. I had a similar situation, and it is a do or die situation. I'm so tired of the shallow arguments from lefties. I'm gonna grab a shirt from ya soon brother keep up the support for us. Thank you.
When I was going to University, there was a saying that was popular amongst us 2A supporters that went something like, "None are more passionate in their belief in the individual right to keep and bear arms, than a mugged liberal". When self-delusion meets reality, something's gotta give. Thank you for this great example, Sir!
Some young punks broke into our house about 9 years ago thinking no one was home but my son was in his room when he heard them kick in the back door he grabbed his AK-47 and the rest is history.
I consider myself lucky, I am a live-in girlfriend of 11 years and still to this day my bf is over protective of me. He makes sure I know the safe combo and have several devices at my access at all time, with plenty of mags loaded for each if I ever needed, not to mention my own small side arm for when I leave home.
This is an awesome story and realization of the honest truth. True evil walks among us. What if those criminals had used the AR and body armor they stole from the government (the police) day’s prior. The same government that says give up your gun and we’ll all be safer. How messy could this exact scenario have gone? Your responsibility to be ready for the fight never ends™️
Colion, man, you present yourself so well and speak so well on here that when I hear you curse, it really throws me. I had to rewind just to make sure of what I heard.
I home carry and when people ask why i always say "Because 100% of home invasions happen in thr home" also, it helps practice new carry methods/holsters/clothes without triggering the hoplonphobes
back in the day, before my LTC, I stopped at my house mid-day and saw things strewn about the kitchen table and dining room table... I called my brother and asked why he made such a mess, and he had no idea what I was talking about! I grabbed the portable phone and went outside to call 911... officers arrived and cleared the house. I evidently walked into thieves ransacking my house, and there were piles of valuables laid out on the tables and upstairs beds!! when I went back out the front door they must have gone out the back! 😮 not sure what I would do differently now that I carry, but maybe hold at the front door and keep the guys upstairs for the police?
