The Road rule (refer 9:27) - Wearing an ID Card is mandatory, kite, cas & Isl people get different colored ID Cards, that's how watchmen figure out whether they should allow you inside or not, which parking lot (They got 2 parking lots, one for cas another for isl and kite) should they allot for your scooter/bike/car. - Masks are made mandatory, you know why. If you are taking public bus, we got bus stands in front, if you are taking a college bus you will be asked to pay a separate amount apart from the fees. - Helmets are damn important. Watchmen stop you for your ID Card and Helmet. If you walk to college, girls need to take the left pathway while boys take a right, or they would ask you to get down and cross to the other way. - People will be driven out if they see us standing idle somewhere, watchmen will be on constant patrol all over the campus with a walkie-talkie! (it would be fun if u r trynna cut some periods) 2. Talking to someone - Students are expected not to interact with seniors, juniors, or even their classmates if they are not the same gender as you are. (Once my HOD Asked for a guy, I said I don't know who she is talking about, and she be "oh you dk ur own classmate?" LIKE WTF. - Boys in our class are even afraid to cross the row, even sharing lunch could be considered as a crime. Though this rule is to prevent ragging, eve-teasing, wrong influence, and more, Some departments take it too far that students hate going to college. - NO students are allowed to roam out during class hours 3. The Canteen Rule - Again this is just a made-up rule, some dept has it, some don't. - 1st and 2nd years are not allowed to go to the canteen during breaks. - I have seen some teachers say to their students to share their lunch if not brought from home, saying that they want to prevent them from gang war (WHAT GANG MAM?) - Canteen stuffs are mostly Lil pricey than usual 4. The Library Rule - Like who cares about lib? NO ONE. Recently they made this rule for HOSTLERS - Every boy should visit the lib every THURSDAYS and girls on WEDNESDAYS and spend an hour there reading what they give (Stupidity level 1000000x) - A person can take up to 3-5 books and return them by the due date, or they would collect FINE! ( I personally don't like how this librarian treat people except for a sweet lady librarian, they all have this purposeless attitude and be yelling at students for no specific reason, even our class mam went to fi8 because they totally disrespected) - No phones are allowed, you have to take a pen to sign in and sign out (book recordings), and pin-drop silence is expected. - Formality: After choosing the book you have to write your name in the name column (in front of the book) and name tag card (stuck inside a pouch in front of the book cover), then they will register it to your E-campus. 5. Extracurriculars - You will have to figure out your interests and join such clubs, you will have to spend, etc time other than college timing as seen in the video. - No special treatments except for an OD that too showing face, will be given (lmao, staffs hate extra sauce in hotdogs UK?), even the staff allotted for that club activities care less. - Tech clubs, innovative cells (yet building), photography club, blog club, reading club, NCC, red cross, a hell lot of shit are in here. (may sound lesser than what other colleges have, yet kg is still growing with their extracurriculars, or it's just me who doesn't know (no way!) 6. The bench rule - Your place is not your place, you are not supposed to leave the first bench all alone (no one worries if you are alone, lol) - Now recently they have arranged this "STUDENTS LEADER" or some shitty concept, where a student manages up to 5 students and give comforts, knows all the secrets and immediately inform to staffs. - The actual plan was to get rid of any personal or suicidal thoughts though, but my professor uses it as a weapon! 7. The class - My class got 2 representatives (one from the boys' side and another from the girls' side) usually people would fight for this position but in our class, no one was interested. - You won't believe it, but we have a board leader (to write quotes, dates, and students' details) to rub the green board (Hey? That's the teacher's job? but we do that from LKG) - Notes, every profess gives notes in their style some dictate exactly what's in the book! - Many professors repeat the concept again and again as many times as student asks, right in the class, for example, our OS Sir, I have mentioned his teaching style in the video - Some professors rush to complete the syllabus, and if we text them asking for any doubts they will CALL us and act mad. (We were instructed by one, to not call before 9 am or after 6pm, considering their family situation, however, we get scolded for any calls! in front of the whole class)] - Many teachers are gold, that they implant interest for that subject, motivates to do that hackathon and win while many are just.. hmm... The UK.. - Whatsapp groups are considered official, students cant use it casually (WTF?), i got falsely accused of creating a WhatsApp group by our mentor once when I don't even bother responding to texts? YOU GET AIMED FOR BEING DIFFERENT AND UNBBOTHERED, BE SAFEEEEE (all clg may be the same, since it depends on human ego, greed, etc) 8. The ground rule - you have everything in the ground, and you have to initiate any. - PT teach, is now one among the security guards, so UK what to do for your sports. GO DO IT URSELF. 9. Meetings - Students teacher meetings where students are not expected to not talk and parents-teachers meetings where no parents are expected to not give opinions. - a hell lot of staff meetings (we get free periods) 10. Dress Code - In simple terms, girls are expected to wear LOCAL "Chuditars (double side pinned shwall) with old fashioned patiyala (fewer stores sell em) and black shoes, plaited hair with minute accessories - while boys are expected to wear FORMALS (NO accessories allowed, even bracelet/chain/ring/sted/ whatever, black formal shoes with black socks, inned formal shirt with a formal pant that too with the belt, of course, hands are expected not to be rolled, button the shirt till neck, no styling with hair) - staff are given a white overcoat - Dress code is meant to bring discipline or practice for the IT Companies' rules and regulations, but which IT field now asks their employee to wear uncomfortable clothes? - Some dept take dress code to another level that we no more like to even wake up and get ready. 11. THE PHONE RULE - phones are not allowed, but you will be asked to attend some meetings by them in class (wtf) 12. Partiality - you exactly know what this is! NOTE: 1. Rules and regulations change according to your department, change according to your hod, change according to your mentor! IT DEPENDS! They are not permanent. - These are meant to be followed for some safety precautions and some for discipline but most of the time it sounds useless, because of the less knowledge of the question "WHY" to students. 3. I will keep updating this comment until I pass out of this college, and might make an updated version of these with an "updated" title, or if you want me to make a separate video on this topic, leave it in the comment session. 4. All these are true to what I have experienced and are not intended to hurt anyone or trigger anything. If hurt, I apologize. Disclaimer This video was taken as a memory which I would like to replay, but when it could also serve information for you why wouldn't I do it? that's why I added 1 min survival guide. understand that some rules have their purpose, while others are simply useless. These scenarios occur in many schools colleges and even in kindergartens, around India like come on... so don't get offended or throw hands Thanks for watching!
The way you create the content and explain the things, it shows that your sincere efforts to do it every thing perfectly. That's normally a touch of sincere and serious student. Literally the opposite of me. I love to hear the frustrations of boys side in this college. I bet that has got a wholesome content for a movie. Bring it on...
