I’ve been vegan 16 days … started as a Daniel Fast but my sister has been encouraging me. She’s been vegan 2 years. I also want to really change my habits so I’m going to stick with it. I feel so much lighter & alert. I’m using the bathroom on a consistent basis… learning to control my cravings & replace them with what we have in nature. There really are alternatives for everything. Instead of ice cream I’m eating fruit with this fire ass almond butter & I make my own açaí. I love cooking though as well so this isn’t as hard for me. You gotta get in the kitchen & have fun- try new things get creative! Go to farmers markets etc educate yourself & hold yourself accountable! Pray about it etc. If you’re reading this- you got this! FR & work out! At least 20 mins a day for beginners

A few years ago my grandmother was having a rough time with her body and the hospital pumped her with steroids and all kind of pills to help numb her pain. She Was preparing her will and she was the biggest she's ever been in her life. She took it upon herself to do research and realize that the meds were no good for her body. Not only did she also realize that common ingredients and most Foods in America where the root of the problem. One big ingredient I can remember specifically is soy. I'm glad to say now that she is doing way better she dropped all of the weight and she walks all the time just because she has so much energy. That was about 10 years ago now she is about 70 years old with the new husband new home and a good life. That was about 10 years ago

You know what I noticed. From a distance she's not as striking as from up close. I think this is due in part to the fact that we have been conditioned to see beauty standards from afar like a stop light. So we color the lips red. We are conditioned for makeup. Early in this video there was a closeup of her and it was beautiful. Hopefully we can move beyond the beauty standards imposed by the makeup industry.

That is so true about the liver. I was a functional alcoholic for years. I developed an infection between my eyebrows, horrible to see. It has now healed but left a deep scar. I believe it is a sign of liver damage. I don’t drink like I used to, but healing from alcoholism is a life long journey. Blessings and strength to those who are dealing with this, and other health issues. Since I’ve been wanting to go vegetarian, I truly believe that majority raw food is the best. No plastic bottled water. I pay monthly for spring water to be delivered to my home, in glass jars. Try to buy your produce from local farms, and grow your own food. Produce is sprayed with formaldehyde to ship it across the country, and internationally. Try to deny comfort toxic food. If you fail, try again!

I love the reflections on the power of music 🙏🏾 I would add that jazz music can be just as valuable for the brain as classical music. As an early childhood educator I would play John Coltrane, Pharaoh Sanders, Dorothy Ashby for the children to calm and center the energy in the room so that could concentrate, explore and learn.

This was eye opening for me. I started the vegan journey then I slipped back into eating unhealthy once I started being around certain toxic environments. But lately for months I been saying I need to get back on eating healthy, and after watching this video while here at work, I decided to fast on lunch with a smoothie and from this day on I’m working on getting myself to that high vibrational stage I were once at. It takes time and I’m willing to go through the process. The main thing that’s driving me towards this journey is my son. My son is about to be 6 and since I’ve slipped on eating healthy I’ve done the same harm to him and as of this week that stops… I’m making this change for the better of myself and my family. Eye have dealt with depression and suicidal thoughts every since Eye saw my mom murdered. Eye have been vegan for two years. Changing my diet has helped but Eye also know that dramatic experiences rewire and cause strain to the brain so it's an everyday struggle to maintain. Thanks for this, such a beautiful family

I love this! I have been practicing holistic health for 10 years and I believe that raw vegan is good to do a couple of times out the year but I don’t think it’s for everyone long term. You can be healthy and cooked Whole Foods along with fruit fast and raw fast during the year. People have to uncover their own healer and listen to your own body.

I may be the on the outside here as a person not of color. But I lived in a traumatic faimly who fed me horrible "southern" style food. As an adult I didnt know how to care for myself well. As a woman or human. Ive been vegan a few times and it can be expensive but it truly created the best mindset and energy levels I've ever experienced. Im anemic so it has been hard for me to properly balance my diet without the use of meat. Ive battled back and forth for a long while as a person of low income on how to source my food properly and it not be expensive. I have 3 step kids and our wic card has saved our lives but unfortunately it covers horrid food that affects my children and their minds. I see it in myself and in them. Besides growing some of it im not sure how to properly provide truly nutritious food to my faimly. I can cook well and vegan as well but the problem is getting proper ingredients in the a land locked Midwest state. I believe this is something that isn't talked about enough. I believe your health is directly linked to your mindset as a person who has struggled with MDD C-ptsd and autism. I didnt ask for any of it but its my job to work with it. I just want others to have the opportunity as well. Its more than building wealth and manifesting it has to do with proper avaliablity of good ingredients and methods on how to budget these things.

Growing up in a poor faimly developed a poor mindset within my core. Ive been un learning poor habits and mindsets and digging deeper in other areas of myself to see how I can develop my trauma into a tool to help others. Attending college classes and other classes have opened my mind into understanding that every one of my problems has a solution and there is a way to work this life in a beautiful way. Its just putting it all together for me now. I'm in a period before the shift. A suggestion of a detox was the best concept I've heard in a long while.

This was another great high lvl conversation!! I’m pescatarian and I do eat a lot of potatoes and rice, so I’m glad y’all touch on the carbs and what eating to much seafood can do to you! I already knew but a reminder is always good. I’m still doing my research and I’m still learning about vegan & plant base foods, & recipes, because I want to go full plant base only. I have so many people that come to me for advice, because they watch and see what I do. So this was great knowledge for me! I also agree with the conversation about the doctors keeping patients coming back to see them instead of truly helping people heal. Thank you all so very much for this information. When I went vegan, the carbs did as you've said they would. The gluten from the breads and pasta became the "glue ton", that made my energy feel weighted down, stuck, and stagnant. The inner "fat kid" got hooked on the carbs and that's been the challenge to get away from. Typing this now, the pizza is calling. Temptation is real, but the light comes in when defeating that beast in the belly.

I gained health since pandemic and lost 70 lbs.; 6 pants sizes; and 6 sports jacket sizes. Even though, I had to weigh daily to overcome my mind not wanting to see me at a smaller size in the mirror. I tell my mind what to think. My mind does not control me by telling me what to feel. I solved this issue by weighing daily. Experts say don't do it. I don't know how one could not weigh and successfully lose weight. Weighing teaches body chemistry and reactions to different foods, water, drinks, exercise, and environment.

Keys, I would love to see your imagery in your interviews include DARK SKIN Black women with their families, with their husbands, and in general. I am seeing Black men with non Black women and no dark skin women in your imagery throughout your videos. As a dark skin woman it's sad not to see it. You have a dark skin mother here being interviewed and still no imagery to reflect that in the images you show.
