Wow, this gives me so much hope. Day 02 of canglob d for my dog and her hind legs are turning back flexible. Praise God😭💓 Thank you for sharing! I pray all dogs heal and recover in Jesus name. Amen.

My dog also passed away from this dreadfull disease. It was so sad seeing him not being able to walk with his hind legs, the last time I saw his wag his tail was when I picked him up so he can try walking. He cried non stop all day and night asking for human help because he couldn't walk to pee or poo. Few days later his body was also paralysed. We fed him crunched down food. And one month mark, he couldn't move his entire head, leaving him only being able to move his tongue. His screaming stopped after this mark because he probably didn't have any more strength, we fed him through syringe. One day I fed him water, so I tried feeding him barely solid food. No reaction, couldn't even open his mouth. The day of his death, I drank tea, went out to get some vitamin D, came back to him and saw him not breathing. I was devastated

Santi's journey fighting from distemper is very inspirational. The love from his family gives him strength all through on.

Thanks for sharing this... We're battling this disease with our dear Midnight for a month now. I'm crying whenever I see her struggling in breathing, standing up and with all those involuntary muscle movements. I can't bear to watch her like that but we have to be with her and comfort her especially when she's having seizures. I almost gave up at first thinking that she's already old (she's 10 years old). But, I can feel that she's fighting for her life. She's eating a lot of chicken. She's drinking meds regularly than before. I found hope. We're still far from her recovery but we're not giving up. Edit: In case anyone reads this, my doggie passed away a few days after I wrote this comment. From all the research I've made about Distemper, I think that if your dog is under a year old or over 6 years old, their battle with Distemper is exponentially more difficult, even more if they don't have the required vaccines, so I would suggest to put them to sleep if you don't want to see them suffer, I struggled a lot with my dog and it was very difficult seeing him suffer while I couldn't do much to help him, the last days were VERY difficult, and the last moments I completely broke down, it was really hard seeing him not make it. So, if you don't want to see your doggie suffer, is better to put them to sleep if the prognostic isn't so good. My 7 year old Chihuahua is in the last stage of distemper, he has short seizures, constant muscle twitching and he can't stand, it's been 19 days since he came down with this disease, and although it is painful to see him struggle with the symptoms, I'm trying my best to help him recover. His appetite came back and is eating well with a syringe (w/o needle), I also have to give him water through a syringe since he struggles to keep his head up and steady. The treatment is also just to treat the seizures and secondary infections (he developed an eye infection and pneumonia, since it's really cold where I live right now -is the worst, tbh). When it's not raining and the Sun feels warm, I take him out to the Sun too, but it's been raining a lot lately so I just keep him inside on bed since he's used to sleeping on the bed. I also stay with him most of the day, hoping for a faster recovery, but I think this will take some time more... Anyways, I really hope he makes it out and recovers, I really love him and the house will feel empty without him, but I'm hoping for the best, we're both trying really hard, so wish us luck if you're reading this. I also hope for you and your doggie to recover and if they're not sick, make sure to give them annually vaccines against distemper, parvo and respiratory diseases, keep them well fed and hydrated, love them lots and play a lot with them

My puppy was sick when I adopted her from the animal shelter. She was skin and bones, had trouble walking, vomiting and diarrhea...the next day she was very sick with all the symptoms, especially weakness, headache and fever. My vet was no help, so I took her home. First I crushed one Tylenol, mixed it with cooling/numbing gel (for burns) onto her head. I did that about four times a day, or more often when her fever was high and her headache was really bad. Four times a day I rubbed Ivermectin all over her tummy, under her arms, her inner thighs...wherever I could find skin. I gently rubbed it in with some more cool water and cooling gel...four times a day of Ivermectin. She needed deworming, so I gave her Fenbendazole. By the fifth day she was feeling much better, but she seemed to still have a slight fever. The sixth day I gave her Moxidectin. I mixed it with some raw egg and little cubes of cheese. She ate it three times in 24 hours, plus Ivermectin rubbed into her belly...the raw eggs, some ricotta cheese mixed into the raw eggs....and she was completely well by the 10th day. She gained about two pounds, she was running and playing with the other pups. I took her back to the animal shelter because she was so rambunctious...if I'd kept her with me she would have continued the same medicine and food for one more week. And I would have restricted the time she spent running and playing. She had a complete recovery and when my other two pups got sick. I recognized the symptoms much sooner, started the Ivermectin right away, the Tylenol and cooling gel right away, but I had to make a paste of the Doxycycline with water and rub that into their tummies. They healed quickly and didn't get as sick as the first pup did. I hope that you can get these medications and keep them on hand to treat your pups as soon as the sneezing begins.... that's when you start the Ivermectin, and Tylenol and cooling gel for the fever is headache. Then, nothing to eat but raw scrambled eggs with the trypsin and trypsinogin mixed in (proteolytic enzymes). I added in ricotta cheese as soon as she wanted more food. Some dogs respond better on Moxidectin, but others don't. It's worth trying one dose of Moxidectin as soon as the pup is stable.... If one dose of Moxidectin seem to make her worse, then stop using it and continue the Ivermectin without it... Ivermectin 4x a day...Tylenol, cooling and numbing gel for her forehead and tummy if necessary, four times a day as needed for the fever and migraines, plus Doxycycline, preferably orally. I hope my experience will help you nurse your own pups back to good health. God Bless you 💝🙏❤ if you have any questions, I'll check this board for questions.

Thank you for posting this. My puppy Stilgar (German Shepherd mix) was diagnosed with distemper last March, when he was just 14 weeks old. We were not able to get all of the same products and treatments you used for Santi, but your video helped so much. I ordered Immunol from another country (I live in America) because it seemed to have helped Santi's immune system. We gave our puppy B vitamin complex as well. My puppy just turned one year old last month and he survived distemper! He has permanent twitching of all the muscles in his body, because the distemper damaged his brain badly, but he is happy and loves to be alive. Thank you so much again. Your video absolutely helped my dog survive, because I did not know what to do or where to start. In America, most veterinarians don't really have any hope for distemper, so they can't suggest supplements or treatments to try.

OMG I was looking for videos of canine distemper survivors and saw this. We had almost the same experience! Our dog, Kenji, had “dog dengue” and distemper at the same time. It took long almost two months of proper caring and medicine before he fully recovered. 😭 And funny thing with the video is our dog was also sleeping at the end of the stairs when he wasn’t feeling well. He also had the same issue where he looks like he’s “drunk walking”. He’s very healthy and active now, although the muscle twitching near his nose and mouth never left. We are so lucky our fur babies survived. 💖

Thsnk you. Today I took a stray dog to the vet because she didn't have her usual appetite and had been hit by a car/scooter. Vet said she has distemper and less than 20% of distemper dogs survive. Wow! This is very inspirational! I wish I also have a family like yours. I have 10 dogs. My 2 dogs showed signs before Yuki tested positive for distemper. They also have ehrlichia. I think my 2 dogs who showed mild signs of distemper (no neuro symptoms) are also both positive. My other 7 dogs might be immune or not showing symptoms. But they are my family. I won’t take risk. We are already giving them Canglob D shots. All 10 of them. Today is their 2nd shot.

One of my five pups have this now, and he's on his 3rd day fighting. I'm praying he will recover the same as Santi and hoping none of the other four get infected too.

We're battling CD with our 2year old Chowsky right now. We have almost the same meds as prescribed by our vet they only differ in name. I am thinking of switching on the same brands you use but I fear my finances wouldn't be able to cope. We're at our 5th day. The vet said he's only at the very beggining phase of the CDV therefore the only symptoms he has now is minimal nasal/eye discharge and loss of appetite. He's been very lethargic recently and only moves when he needs to. This gives me hope so thank you for sharing this wonderful story. I pray all furbabies who has CD gets better soon. Ipakita po natin ang pagmamahal sa mga alaga natin lalo na sa mga tao sa ating paligid. That way, mapait man ang magpaalam sa kanila, pero ginawa mo naman na ang best mo sa limited time na ibinigay ng Dios sa inyo.

Ung aso ko po si tabie, nadiagnose po sya ng distemper ngayon. 8th day na nya ng home treatment and naregain na niya po ung appetite niya ngayon kumakain na sya ng dogfood and boiled chicken na di finifeed. My 2 pups are going through this now. We are doing same as you with healthy diet, sun, live, liquids,eggs, protein, vitamins, and immune support. All hand made food lots of chicken.protein!! They are stable now for about a week. Vitamins also help like you said. They are also getting a serum shot tommorrow. We will see we are praying and doing everything we can like you. I am staying home from work as a stay at home dad with my 2 pups. 24 hour care and love. Thankyou so much for Hope. We really needed this. Thankyou and God bless you. My dog ​​first had fever, vomiting and difficulty breathing. He didn't eat. We took him to the vet for treatment. Went to many places. At first it was not diagnosed as cannie distemper. He is taking medicine for lung infection..Now my dog's breathing is normal. He doesn't have the difficulty of feeding before..But he only eats things like eggs and ham. He didn't even eat that before. But now my dog have mussels twiching on legs.and can not walk properly.This is why the doctor called it cannie distemper..Being able to eat and recovering from the lung infection is not a sign of recovery?..will my pet not be able to walk normally.?.or will I lose my pet forever from this disease.?.because everyone gave me negative attitudes.I can't imagine what to do now. .I can't live without him😞💔

Thank you for sharing your success story fighting CDV. I wonder why the vet did not recommend Canglob D after the 1st diagnosis? My dacshund now suffering CDV for 2 weeks. We almost have the same meds, he is now eating well and active. But randomly, he will suffer seizure and keeps shivering. I'll ask our vet if we can also give him a Canglob D shot. Hopefully this will help him fully recover in CDV.

Meron din nitong virus na ito ang furbaby namin. Napuputat kami, parang nagaalaga ka ng taong may sakit. Mahirap pero TLC lang at meds. Food, water & meds sinusubo namin gamit kamay namin. Ayaw kasi namin ma-stress sya. We're hoping & praying na gagaling sya.

Great battle Santi and fur parents! My dog is currently experiencing this virus since Dec 14, 2022, been through vet on Dec 16 but only conduct tests for Blood Parasitism and Parvo, both negative. Then with having initial medications, my dog Shira is still having a hard time and noticed the head tilting behavior, we get back to vet yesterday Dec 20, and tested for Distemper, and it was positive :( I chose the Home Treatment with medicine prescribed by the vet. Dear sir/ma'am, may I know the best antibiotic/medicine/s that Santi intakes you think made him well? Thank you very much in advance

I am crying while watching this video. Masaya ako para kay Santi pero sobrang lungkot ko para sa mga aso namin. Kanina lang, my isa akong dog na nag positive sa distemper and was given medications. We have a total of 12 dogs, 4 are puppies. We rescue dogs and cats kaya dumami na. The other 7 adult dogs are now showing distemper symptoms. Sobrang nakakalungkot. Di ko na alam anong need gawin. Gusto ko na lang umiyak. Please tulungan niyo ako magdasal for them 😭
