Just started busking, your videos are a massive help - nowhere can there be found a proper representation of earnings and how this stuff actually works. Awesome 👌 every busker should be subbed

20.45 EUR is a little light for an hour but it's OK you can eat fine on that. And that lunch for what, a bit over $4 is a good deal - it's more expensive here in the US.

You've got a nice "walking culture" there, you sound good (both your voice and your guitar) you're young and good looking and believe it or not that helps.

To my fellow Americans, yes the public are tossing coins, but in most countries the coins are the same as tossing $1, $5, and even $10 bills.

I did it for 3 years straight. It wasn't easy, but I had a lot of luck. Awesome yet powerful experience. I will be back one day.

It all started in the city of Bradford in UK where I lived for most my life but I was born in Poland I decided to head back and busk here. Here I busked in Chełm, Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Legnica and Lubin. At first I had my car and I could travel but then it broke down so I traveled by trains. I always had a place to stay at my family's or friend's. I couldn't keep up with money. My speaker broke down so I had to busk with just my guitar. I had a situation once when all my strings were breaking and I tried to make money for them and I played on last two!! It was a rollercoaster of making SOO MUCH MONEY to making literally NOTHING and back again. I started a different stratagy. I got a normal job and I'm gonna make enough for a campervan and some better guitar and I'm gonna go on even bigger adventure. I have my own place to stay too, so that's my base. I think that way I will go further. My goal is to play in Spain, France and Germany.

Well the strategy - this may come useful to you if gonna do it full time. The main thing that kept me broke is that I kept all the money I made in a day in one bag and used that for trains and food and rent. So every morning when I walk up I had ZERO not enough for a train or a sandwich. These moments had me depressed and hungry. ( Btw it was more effective singing SAD songs this way 🤣 so that was a bonus) WHAT I WOULD DO NOW!: I would have a BAG of money with a MONTHS worth of earnings and I would use THAT to eat and travel! The second bag would be the one we collect all the money we are making this month. THIS WAY IT CREATES A LOOP. Where you always have some back up money. Which can "fuel" the second bag.. Ps I would create a third bag which I would put all my savings (back up money) for more expensive things like for example.. Fixing your car. Hope this helps!! Ps. If you view it as a fun game, nothing can stop you, but expect the unexpected.

Busking is hard in Calif. Because of all the crime here. Sacramento is the worst.

I busked in one dodgy city and I played for a year. One other busker started bothering me after a while and threatening me for playing in his spot. Best thing about busking is that it meant to be a traveling thing

But if you play with confidence even the toughest mf will throw you some coin. That's the funny side to busking. I was so scared at the beginning and I had a moment where this big guy is walking up towards me and my legs went numb and I didn't know what to do. He stood there with his arms out (like you know 😂trying to look big) and then he put in a Pound in my case and walked away 😂. Even homeless people would give me money. So then I would give them back more. It was like investing in peoples hearts. By the way the person that did threaten me was a fellow busker who seemed to be jealous that I had a crowd going and more coins. I knew him for half a year or so. These are the people you should be cautious of. Those wanna be your "friends" . Also some little kids try to steal my coins, but it was only because I gave them before cos I had a good heart and they thought they could take it now😂

@@marcelo_koman Yep in my experience the big guys are no worries. The ones to watch out for are the sketchy little MFs. Although there's one bum who's pretty big, certainly a lot bigger than me and I ended up actually shoving him back and calling the cops on his ass and later I saw him and he walked right on by so this is basic school bully stuff - i'd not win a fight with him but I showed I've got some fight in me. Also this is going to sound funny but I've often had people get protective of me like the Streets Team guy who I notice has been sweeping the street right around me for the past hour and a half lol. I had a nice talk about music with the guy when I was done.

Wow food is cheap wherever that is you're busking and living. Food in the UK and I believe it's the UK, is much, much cheaper than in the US. I made $70 playing trumpet a couple of hours last Sunday, but I think your euros go farther than my dollars so you made more. Cheers!
