My dad grew up there in Kibungan and I heard him before talking about Tacadang and never thought it was really a majestic place. I lived here in the US for over two decades and wanting to visit there when I get back because I’ve Never visited my dad’s birthplace. Thank you for sharing this awesome travel videos.
Salamat ti kaadam nga mang ie share ti pintas ti Probinsya ti Benguet. ,sapay kuma ta makaited met kenka ti ragsak ken salun-at ,talna ti puso ken panunot..,take care always and 'GOD bless..😃
You have come a long way in your RU-vid adventure. I have complimented you before, but your video's are like mini documentaries. I am so tired of the travel vlogger video's of the PI. It is really great seeing your off-the-beaten-path video's. Much more interesting, with a production that is more organic and appealing than a History, Discovery, or Nat Geo show. No BS, great job!
You never fail to amaze us with your superb documentary/video. Once again your aerial shots are outstanding. The mountains are breathtaking and majestic. I have to watch your vlog several times to appreciate the views. Thanks for showing the world the beauty of the Philippines and allowing us to appreciate our fellow Filipinos in Benguet who strive to preserve the culture and centuries old tradition of building and farming on terraces. This is one of your best vlog. More power to you. We appreciate and support you.
The beginning of the Cordillera Hymn says: Caddled by majestic mountains, Blest with nature's flowing fountains Blowing flow’rs and verdant hills Is a region of murm’ring rills. Cordillera, region of wonder hail.
lucky for you kumander daot you visited tacadang I am from Kibungan but Afraid to go in that place because according to my classmates you must hike 8mountains before reaching the place but when I saw yor adventures in that place its like I also went there thanks a lot kumander I appreciate your adventure in tacadang
Kumander Daot, you are a very good story teller. You describe your travels like as if I’m there too. You inspire me to go to the places you visited and experience the beauty of the place. I hope the tourism office will continue to hire you to show their community to the whole world. Padayon KD!!!
Wow, these highland farmers are hard workers - I think all farmers are - and they speak English. My students in the lowlands can't even complete one English sentence.
Wowww!!Just woww! Salamat Kumander Daot for showing us the beauty of Tacadang. Honestly, even if Im from Kapangan,I have no idea how Tacadang looks like. All we know is that it's very far and the road is very difficult. It's indeed the Machu Picchu of Benguet. So grateful and much respect for you KD. Ingat as always👍😊 Matagutago ka!!
"when you wake up, you're at peace" You had me there. Thats definitely what we want. 👉🏾No one really does it like you do KD. It's like the whole KD community is with you on each travel. the storytelling is just superb and IT'S REAL.
I'm very proud of having an igorot wife. Very beautiful and hard working woman she's from mankayan and I'm from leyte. Through marriage i am igorot now. And proud to be one.
KD, you’ve brought us to a part of our great country that we have never been and know existed. Breath taking and enough to make you proud of being a Filipino. God bless you more as you bring us more information about our roots and culture as a nation. Safe travels to you
Watching this video gave me goobumps. I imagined the Cordillerans making these trraces in order to plant food for their survival. Gallons of blood , sweat and tears. More so when you mentioned macchu picchu. The builders were excellent engineers & architects .
Breath taking scenery plus powerful telling stories about the community, it gives me goosebumps! I used to live in Kapangan when I was a kid but I’ve never known such amazing place. Thanks to your very informative vlogs KD!🤝🤝👏🏻👏🏻
Salute to you. Kumander you did an Amazing job for me. We Filipino are so happy that you did this for us to show how beautiful Philippines is. Thankyou for your efforts and waiting that our government in the Philippines recognize your work. ❤❤❤
this is so nice to watch and educational too. the breathtaking rice terraces as we actually see how they are made or built. tnx KD for sharing this. God bless.
It’s beautiful and magical place the people there are so hardworking and very hospitable that how we cordilleran’s is! Thank you comander daot for your appreciation
Kumander Daot, I have been enjoying your adventures here in Florida. I appreciate your sharing magnificent beauty of Philippines, quite amazing views of rice terraces and how risky to get to your destination with the terrain. Thank you for tourism crew who helped, too. Kudos to great hospitality of people and sharing their livelihood. Be careful as always and stay safe! Thank you for your great work! 👍👍🇵🇭👍🇵🇭
I have been there in Tacadang after a few days of hiking, aside from Banaue and Batad rice terraces, Tacadang has the most beautiful rice terraces. it's not easy to go there. good that they are making roads up there.
OMG 😻, you're officially Kumander DD (hinDi na daot - sa totoo lang) conquering our mountains in Benguet like that! Awesome content and oh, you seem to be more inspired adding music differently if you're going up to the Cordilleras, which is top tier. Blessings to your family always! Btw, we saw you first with FDGStages before you upload this, that's awesome.
One of your absolute best yet, Anselm. Mind-numbing beauty up there. This road trip is the stuff dreams are made of. Thank you so much for sharing with us so we who are stuck in the rat race can escape, albeit briefly. Take care, bro 🤙
Hi Kumander, thanks for another one of your fantastic vlogs, this one off course is one off the best , such spectacular terrains the rice fields in the most incredible terrains, sometimes looking from the outside , i find it almost impossible how people survive in these inviroment and conditions, you are such a brave guy to venture in these places, so i wish you all the best and safe journey, GOD BLESS AND REGARDS TO ALL......>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>...
Wow! Another gemstone documentary video vlog here Mr. National Geographics Daot. Thank you for making this and sharing this to our view. You did the hard work and effort for us. Thank you, Kumander! I have nothing but all salutes and respects to our kababayans living in the mountains of Benguet. You have a tough and yet simple life there that give me tears of joy and pain at the same time. All love for Benguet and the mountain provinces in the Philippines!!! ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏💐💐💐
Your videos show the beauty of the Philippines and shine so much love and light on the people and towns you visit. Thank you for taking us along your adventures. Your vlogs bring so much to us who watch you.
damn, that place looks old, ancient even. hopefully more recognition will come so more support will pour in on protecting the area. it's gorgeous. also surprisingly the older pips can converse in English well enough na very remote na nila. amazing
This vlog is worth subscribing to. Great contents and there are more to explore in the Philippines with its 7K plus islands. Keep it up, you are doing a good job.
Thank you so much for taking us to your journey up in the mountains and capturing those beautiful and amazing views! Sorry to hear about your back, I hope you get better and take care of your self so you can continue all your wonderful adventures in our country! More power to you and I am learning so much from your travels, your contents are always of great quality and informative! Thank you!! 🙏 ❤
Hi K Daot, awesome video wow! Your one of the best vloggers (smile) keep it up. Always enjoying your videos. May God bless, guide & protect you and your family throughout your lives. From The U.S.A
Thanks KD for taking us to a remote and amazing place of my birth country that I never going to see it personally because of age (71) and residence distance. I was born in the Ilocos South China sea coastal area now resides in the US.
@LeslieAmdono Please try to learn your geography before you make a comment. Google map named the body of water west of Luzon, SOUTH CHINA SEA. PHILIPPINE SEA is the body of water east of Luzon. You can verify it yourself. Open your Google Map. Thank you.🤣🤣🤣
Thank you KD for bringing us into less vicited place in the country but such a beautiful and amazing part of Benguet. It's awsome how the villagers able to cultivate that high and rocky terrain and survive. It's really inspiring.
Always respect to those people living in the tougher conditions. Like you, I get nothing but energy when I hear them talk positivity! And nothing but respect for Kumander Daot for sharing this amazing story man. Keep em comin! Yourself is a tough mfer man.
My goodness my country should reward you! You can be the Sir David Attenborough of the Philippines! Thank you for showcasing the Philippines! God bless you and family!
What an amazing video! I've been to Takadang by hiking for 8 hours then another 4 hours to Palina, almost 25 years ago. Except for the newly built roads, seems not much have changed. That basi is the most memorable part of my visit, the best tasting wine I've had. So envigorating!
Superb feature vlog, KD. Respect! Probably the first to do this informative cover coupled with the best panoramic view shared to viewers. We get to value our province even more and take pride in the industry of the Benguet people and the Cordillerans. You can get to as far as where a day's hike can lead you amid a very difficult terrain and still arrive at a house with a make that could shelter you from the storm.
Kumander D., the simplicity of the place, is where the beauty is hidden & lies! Thanks for sharing us this most hidden civilization! Be careful & take care ! 🙏❤😮
What a beautiful view, Kumander Daot! However, admiring these terraces reminds me of the hard work that went into building them. God bless you on your trip. Amping Kanonay, best regards jeffrideph
Wow!!! I'm from Tacadang from that rice terraces at the lower.. its very amazing and I'm always missing that place even though we go home every year 🥰🥰Thankyou sir. You're always welcome to visit our place 😊
Ur right Ansel this place we can compare very similar to machu picchu the clouds covered the mountains and the mountain burial is literally majestic I'm a filipino but this scene I've only able to see in our school books. Thank you for sharing our cultural heritage Ansel and if am not mistaken the avenger Infinity war was shot here. Philippines is reach of culture and heritage than you so much Ansel for sharing this amazing trip with you thank you for sharing through your blog how majestic banaue is. Safe travels and stay safe guys.
Good morning.. Great footage. Best scenic views ever. Glad you got to try Pinikpikan 👍 I'm sure you heard all about it's history or at least it's story.. I know it's not good video material. Too bad. Enjoy the cool air sir. 😁☕
