I remember the developer for phantom blade zero or whatever it's called says something about putting on more platforms so Xbox isn't completely out of the question but that was like a year ago so PlayStation could have made some sort of deal to make it exclusive.

What I can't stop thinking about when thinking of just how amazing this showcase was... "Even if Star Field was an 11/10 people wouldn't sell their PlayStation for an Xbox"-Phil Spencer He said this at the Kinda Funny interview after the Red Fall huge disappointment. And Phil really came off like there was no way for them to get out of 3rd place even with a bunch of amazing games. The real Xbox fans all were saying, You are wrong Phil! "If you build it, they will come!" (Field of Dreams lol) Now they Xbox has the promise of more games than anyone could have ever expected... And a bunch of games, really good looking games, is EXACTLY what is going to give Xbox the chance to actually jump out of 3rd place!

Xbox games showcase was incredible 10/10. Anything less than an 8 and people are coping. For me games of the show was Gears E-day, Fable and Perfect Dark. Fonz Fable 1/Lost chapters was one of the best games I’ve ever played! Chicken chasing and all. Dee Fable 1/lost chapters has humour but is also a very dark game if you play it through - Jack of Blades wants to talk to you.

@02:17:00 LoL I was playing Still Wakes the Deep while listening to this at the same time. N I fully had to double take at the time stamp I put above. I actually thought Hargeet was confirming that Assassins Creed Shadows was going to be in Game Oass day 1 haha! But he was fully talking about the game before, Atomic something. They are talking about frames shortly after time stamp too... and guess what. They got the Series S playing Star Field at 120 frames now!!! You can download a mod for FREE! Just a tasste of what will come to the game through the mods

1:04:52 SGF has 7.3m views not 27 million. It had around 608k concurrent viewers from main channel, meanwhile Xbox has 4m from main channel and a few m from other channels total slightly more than SGF. The Xbox showcase also had over 630k peak concurrent viewers from main channel.

Perfect Dark looked what I expected from following it closely since the studio was announced. BUT they have been talking about a live service multiplayer game with seasons... So seeing this trailer, I was most surprised that it looks to be a full fledged campaign only game. I would be very excited to see a multiplayer mode for the game... For how much they have invested in this game/studio, I still feel like it is a very good possibility that they do have a multiplayer PvP mode with the first person Mirrors Edge style parkour traversal. Fingers Crossed haha

I think the whole Xbox Series S isn’t capable ship has sailed. I played Hellblade 2 on XSS and it looks amazing - on a friggin XSS!!! From my understanding Black Myth Wukong is also UE5. Understood not all devs are equal and it may take longer due to reduced RAM, but it’s certainly capable. I don’t see anyone saying PS4/Xbox One are holding back hardware or really old PCs for the many cross-gen games. It’s all scalable is it not?

Fonz! Don't be such a pessimist. MS has a much better idea at this point what the fall release calendar is, both first and third party, than you or I and still chose to list both Indy and Avowed as 2024. I would assume at this point that that is where they will release, unless their is a technical reason to delay it. They won't be delayed because the schedule is too crowded.😊

Ponies aren't begging for games when Microsoft is going to be sending them over.. Like Phil Spencer quoted: "Our commitment to our Xbox customers is you're going to get the opportunity to buy or subscribe to the game. We're going to support the game on other screens, and you are going to see more of our games on more platforms".

Ponies are definitely begging for games. They have none of their own this year and been hoping/begging for Xbox games ever since. SOT is top selling/preordered on PS. All these rumours being spread by ponies for all Xbox games going 3rd party. If that ain’t begging idk what is 🤣 Yes more games on other platforms, not all. You will still need an Xbox if you want all Xbox games.

Legoy (Leggo Aloy) not being on the PS4... All the kids still playing on the old ass PS4, will just get the game on the Switch. That game isn't going to sell any PS5's... Keeping it off the PS4, is just going to create more sales on the platform where Sony only gets 70% instead off 100% LoL

In terms of games being released across multi-platforms is that a big issue?? I am sick of content creators making a big thing of this particular point. The one thing most people forget is a good gaming pc is never going to be as cheap as console gaming, my pc was more than 3 ps5's, or 3 xbox series x's, so it's safe to think that the console space is still gonna keep growing due to price. Although I have a pc (linked to a oled tv) and can play from my sofa, I still prefer console gaming, as it's so much easier than messing around with a pc (as I have no desire to tinker with settings etc). However, if Sony places their games on pc, and Nintendo and not Xbox, that's an issue, as Xbox consoles will go the way of the dodo, and Sony may have a more sensible approach to this than xbox, and we need to understand this. Also, I have been told many times gaming on pc is cheaper, this is not true - as console gaming currently has discs games can be resold so the discount initially on pc is a false commodity as once you buy it and finish it you cannot trade it. Finally, Fonz and Dee Batch good show, not sure who the other guest is he's a bit of a shill for Mircosoft.

14mil is a solid number for Starfield, but those aren't sales, many/most are gamepass. Hargeet mentioned GOWR. That game has solid 15mil at full price. It's been incredibly profitable

GOWR hasn't sold 15m at full price. It was also bundled with the PS5. 15m is the cumulative sales number from release to November 2023, including bundles.

6.5 million copies of Starfield sold on Steam. And the engagement numbers on gp and Steam were superb. The game was the 8th most played game of 2023. It was the only game in the top 10 that was not live service. For reference HP sold 22 million copies and did not appear in the top 10. Those numbers are not GP subscribers downloading the game and playing it for 5 minutes. Success of that type helps to make GP sustainable.

You forget GOW Ragnarok is cross platform on PS4. Starfield is current gen. GOW R also came out ~1 year before Starfield.
