J’s reactions are everything to me. The moment she realized that Emily voted for Kaleb, not her, and her taking Emily’s arm as if to say “thank you.” But also her realizing, “crap I have to fight against you now because it’s either me or you.” You can see the surge of emotions flooding in her face, overwhelming her in seconds. This was truly one of the best tribal councils in recent memory. This is why I watch survivor, for the thrill of it all.
I love how everyone looks incredibly thrilled and happy except for her, and she looks like her pet dog just died. It’s rare to see such a huge difference in emotions in one shot and I can’t remember seeing someone looking so lonely on the show before lmfao
This is exactly why the shot in the dark is a thing. It incentivized players to blindside their opponents as this can happen. A straightforward unanimous vote turning into absolute chaos, although that turned into another unanimous vote lol. Also I loved how Jeff flew through the votes because everyone knew that all 11 were for Kaleb lol.
@@merucrypoison296 I know. It stinks but at the same time I wasn't entirely surprised. I was hopeful at best that he would stick around but I am glad he did make it to the Jury.
To give credit when it’s due: good on Bruce and J for convincing everyone to vote Kaleb. Didn’t expect that. Maybe Bruce has more connections and influence than the edit let on
my guess is that kaleb's final plea put a massive target on his back over j. i do think bruce is skating on very thin ice just like kaleb, it's just a matter of who they want gone first
@@lafingscarecrowto be honest I sorta agree with Bruce in this episode. I’m not saying Bruce’s way of playing the game is optimal or anything. But I would also be annoyed and sketched out if an ally is running around talking to everyone all day
@@freddytang2128 People can hate Bruce all they want but they can't say that his read on Kaleb was spot on. And I would have been sketched out as well if an ally was talking to everyone it would definitely raise an eyebrow on my end. And good on Bruce for finding the idol cause I said before the episode Bruce needs something good to happen and it did
@@cameronholmes5590 well while bruce's call about kaleb was right, his approach to it could've been better. you can't just dictate people to play on your side like that because that's just gonna push them away
@@lafingscarecrow True, It was sloppy execution but it kinda worked in a way and Bruce had every right to be wary of Kaleb going off and talking to Reba in my opinion
i think this tribal can be described in four letters. OMFG!!!!!! that was beyond crazy man. great move by kaleb for sure. even though he's made himself a huge flying target now, but at least he survives another day. and it also worked out for austin because he got rid of one amulet, and got redemption for losing his sandwich. i think with how things are going, the reba alliance is going to run this show, and i'm looking foward to that
That’s the best way to describe this 🤣, I haven’t been a huge fan of the 26 days but honestly other then that I’ve liked all the forty seasons. I think that this is one of the best tribals of survivor history in my opinion!
This was amazing to watch live. My dad, my little brother and I were cheering "safe, safe, safe, safe" and then when it was revealed to be safe we started cheering, I was way too hyped I think I accidently started barking lol but this was a legendary moment, every vote for Kaleb, all negated... that just doesn't happen... This might just be the best tribal in the new era, maybe even in Survivor history because it had all three of us acting like our favorite sports team just scored the winning point.
So does this mean Kelley Wentworth has lost her title for most votes negated? Because 11 votes were negated here, but it wasn't by an immunity idol. Great play either way!
J and Emily should've split their votes but dang this was crazy that the shot in the dark actually caused J to go with a bit of luck. Sad for J Maya but I knew she wouldn't win with the edit she got.
i think they might be a little distracted by the insanity that went on to notice. and even if they did notice a missing vote, it's pretty unlikely they'll figure out it was austin. the only three that would know are drew, dee and julie
J should have used her amulet and voted someone else, UHHHH it would be like so good, 1 vote left, sixth person voted out of Survivor 45 : Kellie, people jaw dropped😭
Keleb is one of the outstanding and a friendly survivor in this game . Such good spirit let him conquer this battle . Gooo Kaleb may God renew your strength for next immunity challenge💚
All J needed to do was to put her vote on someone else the first time round and she would have been around. All that needed was a single vote. She must have been wishing that when walking out Tribal Council.
Many ppl are saying that J did not deserve to go home as she's a great player who "flipped all votes onto Kaleb", and I respectfully disagree. Prior to this point, J showed zero noteworthy gameplay and played as passive as passivity goes. Her tribe carried her to this point, as both Sifu and she were seen on the outs in multiple instances due to their lack of social gameplay at the height of Reba. It's less of "she singlehandedly flipped all the votes on Kaleb", and more of a consensus of the "Kaleb is just too big of a threat" mindset. He is literally suffering from success at this point. Glad to see the more strategic individual and better social player survived. Also it's important to note that Emily's decision to vote for Kaleb was not out of betrayal but common sense, since if she were to be the odd man out voting for J & Kaleb's shot in the dark failed, there's no coming back for her as she mind as well paint a giant target on her forehead that says "I'm with Kaleb all the way send me next". Only when the revote happened, was she able to vote for her true intention J, as Kaleb is now safe & protected.
I really would like someone to explain the “shot in the dark play”…. There are 13 players And only 11 voted all for cabel … so that meant 2 didn’t vote cabel and austin ….so I’m thinking if the “shot in the dark” was successful shouldn’t cabel have voted for someone so that one vote would be the one going home instead of a revote??? And also in the revote why everyone keep the same vote of cabel because it’s not like the “shot in the dark took effect in the revote cabel was not safe then ???
I knew he would be safe. Not by luck but by production. It’s so obvious that they could put in a saftey scroll for whoever they wanted. They chose Caleb because they knew he was the only one who would play his shot and he brings more drama than jmaya. Not saying it wasn’t a great thing to witness, I believe it robbed j of a fair shot
@@Jack-ol1io okay. The only times it worked was with Jamie an few seasons back. Remember shot in the dark was introduced in season 41 all the way up to 45. No shot in the dark worked for 41-44. In 45 the producers had to make the shot in the dark work once because if they couldn’t then it would be a waste and the whole concept would be scrapped. So in the first tribal. Production saw Jamie and Mathew shot in the dark was played. Also Lauren banked her vote and Brandon was almost certain he was going to play his idol. So production said hey we have to show that the shot in the dark can work so they used this opportunity to give Jamie safety due to the fact that it was early game and she wasn’t seen as a threat.
@@nicocarbone42You know how stupid you sound right now? It's been played like 10 times. It's bound to work. Its going to happen but sure, continue to make up wild theories that make no sense
Emily wouldn’t have had to worry if she wouldn’t have turned on Kaleb and wrote J in the first place 🙄 now her one true alliance will never trust her again!
It was a good move for Emily because she was able to get the trust of Reba, and now the Belo and Reba will not see them as strong duo. That's why they voted unanimously for J on the revote ☺️
I doubt Kaleb will hold it against her. If she runs to Kaleb and says "your only move is shot in the dark" it makes to vote for him and just pray that it hits and they can move forward together stealthily
Literally pissed i never liked the shot in the dark but for j to be out like that is rough. Kaleb moved down for me it’s was unnecessary for what he did and it didn’t work either J was able to get from being the primary target to at least getting to being the plan B vote which is most times good enough in survivor I rlly want her back that was brutal
@@MrWanton16 but we all saw kaleb was a big target and we all understand why he got voted i’m still confused on what J did to be on the bottom let alone have everyone turn on her
@@hated_josh7086 i mean reba was already targeting her because she was willing to flip on them, and belo, not wanting to lose another member is going to go along with that plan. that's just the way it works sometimes
