I'm just happy Savage didn't go home. With the edit he was getting, I was 100% certain it was going to be him. My heart was in my throat the whole time.
A merge at 13? Do you think the castaways will merge next episode and then be put back into two tribes of 6 at final 12? Jeff did say he wanted to keep the survivors on their toes this season!
Ok, I'm beginning to buy into the conspiracy theory that Kass, Tasha and Spencer have a SUPER secret Cagayan alliance. Kass is a shrewd player, and with all her practiced diplomacy and recent reform, it seems highly unlikely that she unintentionally broke character in front of everyone with her comment towards Spencer. Am I crazy? Or did Chaos Kass seize the chance to throw him under the bus?
+supersunny215 I like this theory! In front of the tribe Kass openly took a dig at Spencer. But when they were walking alone she spilled Savage's plan to him without being asked.
+supersunny215 I don't this is true (but I would like it), because Spencer is genuinly and constantly concern about Kass's actons. I think that Spencer and Ciera have some sort of pregame alience.
If my calculations are correct, 6 out of 7 people who have now left the game did not receive confessionals before the marooning. What can we take from this?
Question: Have you ever seen a bigger dodo edit than Big Steve Fishbock in that challenge? Got the trifecta of the goofy run, the grandma basketball shot, and Jeremy saying that he doesn't have any self confidence. Slammed.
+RIley Vandervest I watched it again and I think the shot was for Tasha's flirty reaction but the cameras included Keith on the shot. Try to rewatch it and Tasha's reaction is really funny.
Why take out Woo over Savage? Isn't it safe to say that Woo is one of the least threatening strategic players left in the game? Savage is the one with more connections to the other tribe as well.
glad to hear you guys acknowledge fishbeck's emotional confessional. it points out, Stephen and you guys' reaction, it points out that kimmie is not playing the strong game you two were talking about last week. kimmie was right last week about the clams, fine sure ok, but why have the sierraesque fit about it?
Is it me, or is Abi low-key playing a good game? Every tribal council she attended (all but 1) the person leaving, had to do in some sort of way because of her. On twitter Ciera said that Abi was the reason Woo went home. Also, by the edit she seems to not be going anywhere for a good while. Just wanted to know your thoughts, thanks!
Wow what an episode tonight! So much happened and went on tonight! With Woo being voted out, just missing the merge do you think with how he played and was this season that he had earned his vote on this season? I think he really improved this time around.
Rob, the #dannystrong was openly present on the twitterverse before the season started which openly spoiled that Terry very unfortunately was forced to leave the game. How aware of you were this and how hard does that make it on you on the podcast?
+yukonr I think the thunder sound was edited in. Scientifically, lightning always comes first than thunder because light travels faster than sound. You don't experience lightning and thunder at the same time. And you don't see Kass' reaction so it was clearly edited.
Louis Belarma and do you think the spoilers are true, cause people say that Varner was so bitter he spoiled the eliminations before the merge. Like us he doesn't know what's gonna happen after the merge due to the jurors going to ponderosa and not the actual same location, so about now I say its anybody's game
same here, I saw the spoilers after Monica got eliminated too. I don't know about that Varner thing but I'm hoping the post merge ones are not true though. And Jeff Probst would really despise Varner if he did that and Varner would not be edited as he was this season. I like the spoilers' final 6 though.
+nick2s I think that Savage thought that Spencer and Wiggles might be in an alliance because they were together since Day 1. Savage doesn't want to risk that.
Are there any potential benefits for a future play to pull a Jonny Fairplay and have their family call up CBS so Jeff will tell the player that one of their relatives is in critical conditions?
I feel like we kind of saw the Cochran winners edit tonight taken to new levels with Stephen. He's the cold nerd who might get a heart through his survivor 2.0 experience. It might be overly optimistic, but the crying and ring-toss fiasco made me think "he'll either go out tonight or he might win". He's still here.
Is the next vote Jeremy, Big Steve, Kimmi vs. Joe, Kelly, Keith vs. Tasha, Savage, Abi vs. Kass, Spencer, Ciera? If so, is the top alliance whichever two threesomes bring Wiglesworth on their side?
WHAT A CRAZY EPISODE! Good to see Terry's family doing well! And Abi better be saying Woo's dead to her next episode lol! That Khaos Kass and Spence rivalry! Poor Stephen crying :(
Everyone keeps talking about the Cagayan people potentially working together; tonight we saw three of them all turn on each other. What does this say about people from the same season working together?
What happened to the scenes from Bayon after Monica was voted out? I know Terry being pulled from the game sucked and was important, but they should have shown something from Spencer and Wiglesworth about the blindside.
+ScottyRB27 I don't know, it might be a purely opinion thing then, because to me it sounds like he's usually stating the obvious or something generic. But I guess you need a narrator even then.
She wasn't. He had to build a fake story so that when Spencer asks them who they're voting for, they have the same answer. It is so Spencer thinks he's safe and doesn't scramble.
+s watson That was a big and stupid mistake ... He could just said Kelly because she was on the outs as well ... big mistake .. Cierra won't forgive him for that ..
Jeremy, Spencer and Tasha are getting winner's edit. Jeremy win looks more believable cuz more than half of jury is original bayon. Also he has had more control over the game than spencer & tasha and is expected to do so in future. Spencer might finish second cuz tasha might turn into a villainous character n would betray people's trust. So, acc to me Jeremy wins, Spencer 2nd, Tasha 3rd. Kass is expected to be booted out next, based on the "next time on survivor" edit. This means that spencer will join his old allies in jeremy, steven n kimi. Ciera would only be left with abi after kass's boot which means she would be next in line(never ally with brazilian dragon!). This syncs with jeremy's plan of keeping alpha males as shield and getting rid of unpredictable players(kass, abi) n goats (wigglesworth). Kimi is also a goat but she'll be safe since she is aligned with jeremy. Wentsworth has the idol so that'll take her deep in game. Steven is likely to go before any of the alpha males (jeremy, joe, savage, keith) cuz he would rally against joe and jeremy would turn on him instead. But at around 10th/12th evictee stage, alpha males will get targeted n jeremy will save himself by using the idol. Then Jeremy, spencer and tasha will take it to the end. Wentsworth will get a raw deal deep in game(she doesn't have good connections with jeremy, spencer, tasha). Abi and kimi will get booted out after the alpha males are gone since that'll be another common consensus (getting rid of leftover goats) . My predicted booting order will be : Kass (unpredictable) ciera (will go in trying to save kass) steven (in trying to get out joe; jeremy will turn against him) wiglesworth (worthless player, can go any time; + joe wins immunity) joe (coz he won his first immunity; people will get scared) savage (another alpha male) keith (alpha male) kimi (goat) abi (goat) wentsorth/tasha (whosoever loses immunity, goes) spencer jeremy wins!!
+mike carson You think Probst will let that happen for a second chance season ? Highly unlikely. If wentsworth doesn't get target(i.e. doesn't play her idol) before family visit(expected to be at final 6 this time), then I'll bet my money on her reaching final 3. But I doubt that would be the case. Maybe kelly has done something amazing this game hence being spoken of highly by other cast members. No way she wins.
but isn't it maybe true that keith didn't consider that first alliance all that highly??? keith spoke about that second five person alliance as if it were his first/ am I confused here? I don't see where there will be a tough choice for keith, not as far as two competing alliances within himself.... he is full on board for the second
I commented this in survivor FB. I comment the same here. heres what i think. Everyone ask why is abi still in over Woo? personally i think tonights vote was pretty good made by high level players like Jeff mentioned. Woo is the kind of player that is loyal to Savage like he was to tony n i think the players saw that n dont want that n like wat Ciera said she sees her position in the tribe when Savage made his plans. For all the drama that Abi is, she is smart as well to still stay in the game and vote off Woo whom she knows will not be loyal to her but to Savage so why not save Spencer and make him hers. I will further elaborate not cos of the spoilers on the merge but if u do a count the merge will come most likely in a few more episodes ( but now we know its the next ). Why get rid of Woo when there could be a few more tribe challenges before a female? simple its ok to lose a few more n lose a few more players cos Kass Ciera already got alliances with Joe, WenWorth and Keith and they know Savage will go back to Bayone to be with Jeremy, Kimi and Fishbach. So where does Kass n Ciera fit in original Bayone? bottom 6 or 7? Why not take Spencer and Abi over to Joe, Wentworth n Keith make up their numbers and vote off Jeremy Savage n his group and when its left Joe Wentworth Keith Kass Ciera Spencer n Abi its 3 vs 4 n we'll see how it goes from there. I believe thats how the players see it when they were casting their votes tonight.
I think Kass might have sided with Spencer because they're cut from a similar cloth in terms of strategy and thinking things through where she knows there's no convincing Woo of anything once he picks his horse. Also, Spencer doesn't have a group this time where before he did which made him more threatening when she did her original flip on their alliance post-merge.
Savage's biggest mistake was not recognizing Abbi's hate for Woo. He kept saying Abbi, Woo & I are so strong. Woo votes Abbi Twice & is dead to her. How could he forget so fast?
Why is it, ooh, chaos Kass is back? I don't see that. Ciera is Kass' closest allie. I don't see that this was Kass' call at all. It was Ciera's and Abi's. Kass stood with Ciera, that's all
Although I don't like Terry as a player, I teared up and I'm so glad that everything is OK with his son. I know we don't see everything, but did they not think about the idol when they were deciding on a vote? I mean, nobody has it in this tribe, but you should be at least concerned
Why didn't Abi talk? She beat someone in a head to head challenge for probably the first time ever...and she had a grudge against Woo end her way. She shoulda had something to say this episode.
+Michael Schaefer I don't think Kass would have voted as easily for Savage, they're around the same age & both are lawyers. They probably have some connections. + I'm sure they picked Woo because they knew Abi wouldn't hesitate to vote for him.
+ScottyRB27 to elaborate, Abi hated Woo so it wouldve been a safer thing to do than to try to convince Abi to vote Savage and then hope she goes through with it.
Isn't it a bit hypocritical for Steven to want to target Joe for not being with the 5 "Bayon Strong"... and holding it against Joe for throwing out other ideas by saying he flipped... yet he is just as quick to flip on Joe and the 5 strong? Seems similar to needing "reasons" to justify like from BB17 #Confused
Yet reveals Stevens cards as well as a potential flipper to the alliance -- just seems like a premature play for the time being consider the large alliance
Savage said he is going nowhere ...one red flag...because he has Woo and Abbi ...Abbi ..are you relying on Abbi ? really ? ..second red flag...I thought Savage going home today .
ROB- if spencer makes the merge people think he is screwed but is he not the ultimate swing man? Nobody wants to play with him so he can go where ever the numbers are. He has no alliances or anyone right???
So this is the third time already this season that Spencer has been at the mercy of his tribe and managed to stay because others felt he was more beneficial to them. Does this make Spencer a better player or just someone who is really overrated and has just lucked his way to the merge this season?
savage messed up. but at tribal, savbage was speaking about how confident he was and then how confidence fits into the game" if I am wrong then I have to accept responsibility. pretty simple. again, I think you guys are talking about your fantasies and sometimes lose touch with what happened on the show.
