I feel that this season wasted Aubrey's third chance and David's second chance

I would’ve highly preferred a Victoria win or even a Lauren win would’ve been good. Edge should not exist that late in the game

People saying rick had a bad social game when Chris wasn’t even playing for 3/4 of the season

On a season with David, Wentworth, Devens and Gavin, somehow Chris won

Wendy is literally crazy like who would give up their game for chickens

It was not a bad season at all. However Chris coming up to win it all from absolutely nowhere pretty sure left a bitter tastes in everyone else's mouths. I thought it had a good cast with everybody in it to win it. Royally upset that my faves, Wentworth & Lauren were outplayed and eliminated but they played as hard as they could !

You could just completely get rid of 3:50-18:30 because everything in there doesn't even matter

I feel the EoE twist worked very well during the pre-merge as no one knew that it was in play similar too the outcast twist in Pearl Island but I feel post-merge it should of been gotten rid of as the reveal ment that I became gimmicky

Kinda good at first but it turned bad, especially when they continuously gave Devens idols

Rick, David, Kelley, and Wardog made this season. It had maybe the worst finish in Survivor history, but everything leading up to that was pretty damn good in retrospect.

Chris is given a lot of hell for only being in the game for like 8 days, but he played the game as hard as he could when he returned, Gavin just sat there, going with the flow, not making any moves at all. “But Gavin didn’t receive any votes for the 39 days he spent on the island!!!” - yes, because he wasn’t a threat, he and Julie was dead, useless meat, that anyone could take to the end and win against. Like Wendell said, you might not like the EOE, but that’s the format you’re playing with, so it’s about what you do with the format and rules that you’re given. Chris did everything in his power to succeed with the format and play as hard as possible once he returned.

I mean, I'm mad that Lauren didn't win, but Chris earned the win with that play at the end of the game... Damn that was brilliant

For a dude who hasnt had tv in years I'm glad to be able to catch up on the seasons I missed this way. Thanks!

Say what you want about Chris winning, (I’m not a fan of the theme “Edge of Extinction” btw), but he really did play the best possible game he could in such little time. He flushed out Lauren’s idol with what I assume is a BS story about Wentworth on the edge. That caused Lauren to want to make a move to early. She played her idol wrong, was exposed at 5, and got voted out when Chris saved himself with his idol. He played the idol that Devins gave back to him correctly, which ultimately bit Devins in the ass in the end. Chris gave up immunity in the final 4 (never been done before) to beat Devins in fire making, to try to get more votes from the Jury. Like I said, I think the whole theme of “Edge of Extinction” is complete BS and unfair to the players that haven’t been voted out of the game. However, he did play a perfect game when he won his way back, after spending 28 days on the Edge, (not to mention in just those 3 tribals he already made a better case for the million then Julie did all game). I don’t believe he is the most undeserving winner of all time. I think there are plenty other survivors who would take that title from him.

Victoria is so underated!!!

I still think Gavin deserved more than just 4 votes

Worst ending to a survivor season ever

Devens would have been one of the best winners. As dominant as Mike it had won the final challenge. I hope we see him back soon.

Great video, fun to watch the key moments again. Like everyone else, I'm glad Chris won, because the jury (made up of actual players) decides who should win. Yeah, there were other players I'd rather have had won, but they didn't. None of the Kama players deserved to win because they blew their significant advantage over the hapless Manu. The wisdom of Survivor producers is evident in the wonderful 38th season, Edge of Extinction

Watching Rick have so much fun makes this season so much fun to watch

Okay but did they eventually convince Wendy to let them kill the chickens? Because tbh I’m not even vegan but I was rooting for those chickens.

Wardog tanked his game by making a move too early, Julie just sucked in general, they shouldnt have voted Aurora out at that tribal, and Lauren was an idiot to play her idol on Chris. I hate that Chris won this season, but these guys made too many mistakes on their own

Would you sit on an island for 30 days in no danger of being eliminated for a chance to enter the game at the final five, bypassing all the difficult jury management while bonding with everyone who was previously eliminated for an essentially guaranteed win? Wow what a compelling season. Worst twist, worst theme, worst season, worst winner, and its not even a debate for me. FUCK this season.

The whole time I was watching the season I had in the back of my mind a threat is gonna come back from extinction at the last minute and just get a pass to win

okay maybe this is a bit of a spicy take but if theres no edge challenge at final 6 this is a top tier newbie season. Maybe its just me but the character moments we got were awesome, we got one of the best storytellers of all time with devens and if chris doesn't come back into the game im guessing final 3 has victoria devens and probably gavin still which would have been so interesting to see. IDK maybe its just me but if not for edge and chris's win I would have really enjoyed this season.

The insanity of the Julia vote out almost outweighs how terrible the ending was

Don’t get why everyone’s mad about it being Chris. He built bonds and relationships in Extinction, won his way back. Was able to pull out some power moves with the Devins. And then took it in his own hands to beat his biggest threat (Devins) in a fire making challenge. Securing his win. Y’all just bitter. I ONE HUNDRED PERCENT WANTED LAUREN TO WIN THO. SHE DESERVED IT.

I thought Joe was okay in his first two seasons but, I hated him this season.

This season was pretty good, if you ignore Chris’s wins.

I didn’t like the timing of the second extinction challenge but let’s be honest the cast for this season was amazing. I wasn’t bored of any of them they were all entertaining and worked well together to make good TV

Edge of Extinction had the most outrageous swap ever.

The ladder half of this game when Devens dominated for weeks straight is so much fun but it wouldve been that much better if he actually won.

I would love if you could do a version of this for Survivor Samoa!

This season is exactly like redemption island, Kama is like Zapatero and Manu is like Ometepe, and this season ties for the worst final 3 along with Nicaragua and Gabon

Lmao the first tribal council Joe goes to he was voted off. Loved him in Worlds Apart and liked him in Cambodia but EoE he’s just a big Ozzy with muscle

This is so messed up. Devens was by FAR the best player. Everyone playing and in the jury knew he would win which is always why they tried to vote him off.

Wentworth, Lauren, Aurora and Devens all deserve awards

TBH Rick would have been a good winner if i'm correct he had a ton of immunity wins for himself
