EoE as a twist with only one person re-entering at the merge is infinitely better than someone returning at F6 with a damn idol. If they made that adjustment i'd probably be fine with it.
Once again Jeff Probst needs to know that idols aren't the problem but the *abundance of idols* and *safety advantages* _are_ the problem. Remember the final 6 in _Game Changers_ when Cirie was eliminated by default? We don't want to see anything like that again.

Bring back Tree Mail. Bring back “When it Rains, It Pours”. Bring back the auction. Bring back Exile Island. Bring back Rites of Passage. Bring back the old jury format. Bring back water challenges and night challenges. That’s my list of demands and I’ll be interested to see if Survivor 40 does any of these.
They probably put it in so that if someone's favorite player gets voted out early they can still see them for a while longer...not saying I'm a fan of it though
To me fire tokens is a great idea! It's the natural evolution of the game and it fits with the island theme, think about pirates and treasures... I can't wait to watch season 40 and all the seasons after it!
I'd be more on board with edge if they put the return challenge 2 or 3 rounds earlier. I had no problem with the Chris win, I just think final 6 is too late for someone to re enter with an idol, because it makes it kinda easy to make it to the end, being that the person that re-entered in most likey good at challenges already.

Rob just announced he's coming back for season 50. Started playing in season 4. That man really does have survivor running through his veins! Will be interesting to see if his kids play. I've already seen him teaching one of them how to start a fire with flint (on his Instagram acct)
She’s adorable but definitely not a winner. I love her to death but she’s a female ozzy, he can be a great guy if he’s not being a dick to John C. But he’s only good at challenges his social game isn’t there. She’s a mix but she rides the good horse too far, shows she’s not just the hot girl and boom gone.
Honestly wish they would do an og season of survivor so no idols and slower gameplay. Watching how people think is way better than watching people find idols(in my opinion) which are now at this point, probably given the location to them by the camera crew.
Jeff just can't stop talking in general. Watch any of the challenges, he does not shut the F up. I'm so glad we have Australian survivor. It's what the show used to be.

I’d be fine with eoe if it was only at the merge. It gives us more time with the whole cast and it doesn’t break the game and makes a fun little twist. Like the battle back
They should do idols where you have to use them in someone else. That'd force BIG IDOL MOVES like what Natalie did instead of just playing it for yourself
BULLSHIT this show would go on forever even if there are none of these stupid twists. We love the game as a core and we want to see people navigate it in different ways and you don't need stupid twists that ruin the game in order to see that happen
Not sure that Jeff Probst would really like me as a person, because I am extremely conservative, but one of my top five bucket list things would be to be stranded with him for a few hours and get to ask him hundreds of questions. I love the guy.
idols are fun and add a lot to survivor strategy but i mean a whole season of everyone looking for idols and being paranoid of someone else having an idol... and then there's no idols at all... SURVIVOR: ISLAND OF NO IDOLS... that sounds fun
The EOE is terrible it just takes time away from the people in the game, last season the only people you knew anything about was devins, Chris and the returning players
Jeff removed them because the advantage strategy in S30 broke it. Jeff could have just taken out the advantages and have it like the authentic auctions, but Jeff just got rid of the whole thing.
@@mackiahhenry6261 people of suggested ways to fix it and here are the ones that I like the first one being that the advantage or the idle clue be the first thing to be auctioned up the second idea was to make it so the max bid for an advantage is $250 so you can still have money to put on other things and the last idea and my favorite is hide clues and advantages in the food items so say I win a steak dinner put an extra vote in my silverware roll or say I win a nice big bag of candy for myself to bring back to camp just straight up hide an idlol in my bag of candy
They should make one season soon that goes back to old school survivor with no idols or anything like that just to switch it up a little bit also I miss the old intro and music and all that
Take a bunch of new school players and make it returning players they're going to go back to old school survivor no idols no advantages just straight making relationships winning immunities and making it to the final two yes I said final two now that would be great season I think people who got bored of the show or never really liked it in the first place would come watch that
The problem with eoe is that the returning player has built a relationship with members of the jury basically outside of the game (the firsts shouldn't even be on the jury) and did not even play the game. Let him back at the merge maybe and no idol, but this?? He didn't survive nothing.

@@milesbrad9975 Depends on the viewer. While it is a pretty tough game, people still have their favourites and get sad when they get voted out and aren't seen again until the reunion. For a season like this with all returning players, some of whom haven't been seen in over a decade, it would upset most if someone like Ethan got voted out first and then wasn't seen again until the reunion. From what I've read/heard some people only came back because of Edge of Extinction. Sandra implied as much in her interview.
@@fianle I am pretty sure Rob only agreed for the same reason. For some of these, they know full well they won't last long in the standard format, a chance to return to the game is a different story.
I agree with Jeff. There's a reason we are at the 40th season and that the show didn't end after 8 seasons.. everything happens for a reason. if EoE is brought back, it is meant to be.
Actually i was just as annoyed by Devons' return as i was about Chris U's. Get rid of EOE please. Get creative though, fine. Just within the framework of outwit outlast outplay. EOE is not "outlast".
