I'm watching this after episode 4, but my comment is applicable after episode 2. When Tyson says he has to downplay everything because he's seen as a threat, well...he went in guns ablazing winning both of the first two challenges of the season haha! Everything he says, u gotta take it with a grain of salt, but there's always a tongue in cheek / some element of truth to his words, and/or a bit of hypocrisy there sometimes, and that's Tyson for ya!
I really liked Tyson and his confidence but this was so obnoxiously cocky and the level of his superiority complex was NOT earned. Literally if this was anyone other than a white straight male they would be the most hated in the cast and comment sections would look a lot different.
Also this was the first time i heard of this man only to find out he's been on reality tv for 15 years. I mean, the less than 100k insta followers could have fooled me.
I'm pretty sure you think he's cocky because he's white and straight, lol. The reason he isn't hated is because he's funny and self-aware about his cockiness. And he's honest about his fears. Which you wouldn't know because you didn't watch any of his survivor seasons but still think the world needs to hear your opinions. People like you are the definition of cocky - you do absolutely no research, just run your mouth as if the world asked you for a lecture.
