There are plenty of anti-slugging perks available. "Unbreakable", "Soul Guard" and "No Mither" let you pick yourself up after getting slugged. "Tenacity", "Power Struggle" and "Flip-flop" make it easier to escape from the Killer after being slugged. "We're Gonna Live Forever" and "For the People" make it easier to pick up teammates who have been slugged.

The first team was running those perks.

You see a tryhard, I see a Huntress main who had very solid sharp shooting skills and won himself a 4K
