It’s interesting how Jacob and the woman almost stayed in the mentality of the age of when it happened you can almost hear like he goes back to being twelve and her going back to seventeen when they recount what happened, very sad.

To see Columbine in the perspective of students is amazing. Just to hear her refer to Dylan Klebold just by his first name makes you actually think about what it would be like if that happened at your school. You truly never know what someone is capable of doing.

It's that great paradox of the tragedy ... we know Eric was a psychopath and wanted to do this, and probably would have done it alone, but Dylan's true motivations are still a bit of a mystery other than being truly suicidal and wanting to die.

Getting out of the theatre alone would make you a survivor. People who commit mass shootings are usually erratic… no one knows what they will do or where they will move to next. Which rooms they’ll go to… etc.. getting out of the theatre itself during all of that… is a feat on its own.

I’m a school shooting survivor. Just because I wasn’t in the same room when the shooter started, doesn’t mean that I’m not a survivor just as much as everyone else. I had to run, I had to hide, I had to watch victims come out of the school I was in covered in blood, I saw teachers covered in blood, I heard the gun fire, I heard the screams, I laid in a ditch for what felt like hours before crossing a major road to safety. I may not have been shot, but I was there. That makes me a survivor.

5:13 that’s sad. Dylan was so filled with anger for whatever reason that he spared not only her but other kid he knew. It’s weird how he was still able to go along with the killings after he for a moment remembered his humanity. Eric was pretty cold in his approach to everything. I am sure the fate also of his broken nose/bleeding bothered Eric or he may have taken more lives. It’s just not even comparable to have the movie shooting with a columbine survivor. They truly do not compare in any capacity, the magnitude of columbine should not be diminished. They were teenagers, targeted by fellow teenagers, classmates. Peers. This was the 90’s, when this was not regularly occurring, technology was not was it is today, gun violence was not what it is today. It was a much more naive time. And the scale of Columbine just does not even compare with shootings that have followed, and the overall tragedy incurred. I find it really audacious to have the survivors brought together in such a way as if they were equal or comparable events.

NO BC I KNOW FOR A FACT DYLAN WAS INFLUENCED. Rachel Scott’s uncle came to my school one year, I’m 19 on 20 but I was 11 when he had come to my school to talk about the dangers of school shootings and how bad it can be, he was a surprise to us all and he talked about the shooters and about his niece (Rachel obviously) and how amazing she was, being a full Christian girl who had big dreams and he had even brought the boys journals, or at least one of them I think and it was Dylan’s and I had the chance to look at it and oh my lord, he was depressed and suicidal more than anything else, that had most definitely lead to homicidal with the help of Eric, if he didn’t have Eric or never met him, Dylan would not have ever thought it, that’s just my belief. He talked about having a love life and talked about wanting to meet the woman of his dreams and wanting to be happy, from my perspective. But I will say that leading to it, he was more suicidal and just wanted to be dead, then it got bad, I believe he was lead to insanity by Eric and that’s just my opinion. ALSO! PSYCHOPATHS AND SOCIOPATHIC PEOPLE CANNOT LOVE!

All you people talking about the guy making the film, he did survive. Being in a different theater doesn't make a difference. He was there and was terrified like everyone else. The shooter could have made his way over. It's terrifying I'm sure for anyone in the building. And why wouldn't so.eone make a film about it? Films are made about these tragedies all the time. Titanic, Tora, Tora, Tora, WTC, Flight 93 need I go on? Why would this be any different

Honestly why can't they do s but security checks at schools, movie theaters etc. In India that's what they do. Citizens in the US shouldn't have guns in their possession in the first place but obviously we can't do anything about that.

You know something it's kind of strange Columbine massacre no one is not talkin about the real question that everyone wants to know what I want to know is why are you students still bullying other people picking on other people making someone feel worthless eventually something bad's going to happen and you wonder why School shooters are created the only way to create a school shooter it's a bully make someone feel worthless pick on them treat them like trash for couple years and eventually they will snap so I blame the people in the school it's your fault stop bullying and picking on the little guy and this will never happen if not let it continue

I would've freaked seeing them face to face at columbine. So scary. I heard that Eric was more of the leader and Dylan was the follower yes he shot them willingly but I don't believe this was all his plan.
