I see Lawyer as one of the most underrated survivors. In coordinated team with VC he can provide a lot of information and also he can do more risky moves due terror shock immunity.
The Mind's eye responsibility is hiding away from hunters and decoding. But since NE made the persona that expose everyone in 5s if hunters cannot catch anyone in 50s early game, they usually coming for her. She has to kite the entire match. Hunters will not give up even have to get lots of stuns from her XD.
i love playing minds eye but thts the only “con” (i guess) to her. since shes one of the weakest in the game, with her slow vaulting, pallet dropping, limited vision, and no defense, hunters tend to target her if they happen to come across her first. thts why i always prepare to kite at the beginning of the match because most of the time i end up kiting first 😔😔😓 #justmindseyethings

I still use Embalmer because he is my favorite character and i like his skill. Yes, his skill doesn't really help much in the match but 50/50 it give team a win, tie, or even a lose if fail
he's such a gamble since so many outside factors can make or break whether he ought to use his coffin ability. but i love him all the same ;; i'm hoping for the best on his rumored rework buff though!
I'm still channeling myself to be an embalmer main, and gosh it's stressfull, you have to gamble when and where to place/use the coffin and if you have to rebirthing early/wish one of your teammates saves you when you get chaired early. And when kiting, you have to be calm and collected because he's easy to get terror shocked;-; poor bby
I'm happy that someone finally understand how good prisoner is. He's really powerful if you know how to use him well. Find and connect two ciphers with a person that's decoding in there then help them with the decode make sure that you give the 48% decoding speed(?) And boom 2 ciphers will be decoded in short time, a really great survivor for cipher rush

He doesn't have any kiting debuff tho he is a decoder uWu Edit: Umm I can say guys that Prisoner is broken too with his passive default traits like (Yes for me Prisoner is S tier): 1.) stuns: -like encha, he has unli stuns... tho his stuns is only a second, it can definitely change a game cuz in Identity V, a single second is very important (time shouldn't be wasted or you'll loose whether you're a hunter or survivor) -when the hunter hit a survivor within the radius of his 'electrical area'... It will be a guaranteed stun because of the attack recovery... (Tho it can be used to counter attack recovery and pull off a double hit when the timing is right) 2.) Once his connection got destroyed by the hunter, he will know the exact location of the hunter (YES HE'S NOT A MIND'S EYE BUT CAN LOCATE HUNTER'S LOCATION BY THIS) 3.) I pointed out this in my earlier statement: He doesn't have a kiting debuff WHICH is contradicting to a decoder's traits. So I conclude Prisoner as a decoder is op (Plus Mechanic late game with dead teammates and without robot isn't as efficient as the Prisoner in the same situation) :)) gets?
Personally I see him as an A tier! He only has 1 stun to help him kite & that does help a lot, but unless the kiter is god tier he can suffer as he has no other assistance. (Not including persona tree) with it I’d say he’s still high A. The only thing is that kiters are even more important with him as it can take awhile to decode for him as it is slowed. He goes well with kiters & imo a more mixed character like perfumer/enchantress/coord/explorer as they help him decode a lot faster.
Tbh Mind's Eye's blindless isn't really a con, unless you're new to the map - important parts like walls and pallets are visible. She literally can see a looping/camping hunter through walls too. For me her only con is her speed, but that can be dealt with if you train to kite on bots+bring the right persona, and choose ciphers around which you feel comfortable kiting
guys, it’s just a tier list looking at the skills but even if you suck at the game and play as such a strong character like mercenary, you will still dying bc you suck but if you don’t you will do a 5 ciphers kite as lawyer :33 so it’s not only the character skill, it’s ur skills tho, that’s the point talking about it I remember I suck :(
Someone finally noticed my bb Luca :’) I honestly think he’s one of the best decoder since if the other 2 was busy supporting the one that being chase he can handled the decoding by himself
@@emo1571 of base he wanders from a tier to b, he is kind of map dependant but not much, he's pretty good and he's more of a support to decoding paired up with a mech, he can be elevated to S tier only of you count hunters like dw Joseph or cipher guarding since someone can go bother the hunter and he finishes the cipher and can overall be good, not as good as mech but good if mech is banned
Aesop is not that bad. He doesn't have self-defense ability, and so are Emma and Kurt. Emma's ability is useless after being reworked, and i would rather decode 40% or so than try to find and dig up 50%. Don't get me wrong, i love those two characters, but it's just unfair to put them higher than Aesop. His skill is really unique, he can save people and even himself from the rocket chair without interrupting decoding. If the coffin is far enough and the hunter doesnt have teleport or cannot travel quick, then they will completely lose the survivor. Sure the hunter can leave him to bleed, but he can heal himself or wait for someone to give him a hand; if the hunter decides to camp, then all the cipher machines is gonna go boom boom. Aesop also has "iron ass" and doesnt have debuff kiting. And last, you cant put him at low-tier just because he's "hard to use". Is dream witch a joke to u

I don't think prisoner is S 🤔 I mean, his ability is situational, when other S tiers are always the same. I'd put him in B or C tier, his cipher rush is not that good considering he's decoder. Mech is S, because she decodes on chair or decodes 2 at the same time, or decodes whatever she's doing. It's like the game is only 4 ciphers, not 5. Prisoner doesn't decode 2 at the same time, rather gives some of the decoding progress to another cipher. Also if he's on chair, his ability is kinda useless. Maybe good for showing which cipher should we decode. The stun is short, just an enchantress lvl 1 stun, but I do agree he has high self-defense. But he's not S tier, not many people would pick Prisoner if Mech is banned, they'd rather go Priestess, Forward, Seer, or Gravekeeper (has S tier potential, he's almost like merc, his kiting is also very good and unique). But that's just my opinion, the tier list is mostly accurate.
@@akki384 his stun can save indeed, but he's not a harasser. When a forward finishes one cipher, he goes to help the kiter, his balloon rescues are amazing, can stun you for so long. Prisoner won't go harass, he gonna decode, or use the stun for kiting, balloon rescue is situational for him
I don't know how to feel about this since I main him lmao, yep he's not the best decoder like mech but he can finish a cipher pretty fast giving a percentage of his cipher, I would like to imagine how would be a QM or Rank with prisoner and mech XD
@@noir4299 actually Prisoner + Mech gives a nice cipher rush, but nowadays in high rank 2 rescue, 1 support / kiter and maybe a decoder (not always) is the usual team combination. But yeah, Prisoner + Mech works. Robot can always give the 24%
I agree, i see that prisoner is used a lot in higher tiers when mech is banned and honestly has a good ability, but since its still weaker compared to mech i wouldnt put him above a/b tier.
It's so sad to see my boi being so bad in the current meta, but I do understand why he is so low on the tier list. I think they should remove the necessity to meet your teammates during the game in order to embalm them. They should also let him reposition his coffin. And maybe make the coffin visible only after the embalmed survivor has been reborn. I really hope buffs are coming Aesop's way. He really needs them. P.S. Great video. Keep up the good work.
I heard the boi IS getting a buff, just not sure when and how. But yes, as a part time embalmer main, he needs a buff or two... And also more non limited skins.

Mind's Eye main and kinnie reporting from the future, she got a different buff whenever she strikes her cane the hunter's interaction speed decreases depending how close you are to the hunter and can use the cane while walking, it works pretty well, not the best and not really game changing but at least it helps us kite a little better and support the team a bit at least

BQ cant make a reflection, and tinnitus doesn’t work on the shrunken state. Also the quick cipher pop makes it a 2nd Meta character. 2. Wildling’s boar makes him the best kiter. The speed and durability is increased drastically, and he can jump over most obstacles. He can also use the boar to push and stun hunters, making him an A tier (Possibly an S tier) and a 2nd Meta character. 3. Lawyer’s skill to view everything in the map, as well as the immunity to Terror Shocks makes him an A or B tier. 4. Everything mentioned about doctor was correct, and I personally think she should be placed on A.
This is an old video also tinnitus works against explorer, wildling decoding is shit and if you are a decent player you know that you should change target, and lawyer is trash he is extremely slower in decoding than the other decoders and almost no one will get ts in high tier

Prisoner can be good if you know how to use him right. He actually slows cipher rush if he tries to decode two ciphers at once because he loses progress. I think prisoners should only transfer progress to finish someone else's cipher (rescuers typically), so that no one has to waste time running over to finish it. But he's so good I luv Luca T^T

As a Postman main, I could say that you underrated him- For me he is S tier, good rescue + decoder and a little bit of kiter + he gives boost to his teammates that affects the game pretty much.

Tbh its really difficult to use his gloves. And some RU-vidrs only explain how to be merc but no one really elaborates how to efficiently use those gloves.
I'd put Cowboy in A tier. He can literally jump over the hunter, baloon-rescue and rocket-chair rescue. + he can decides to sacrifices himself for a female survivor by taking her while getting downed, she won't get hurt but kevin will.

The only thing that would make gardener better is when the hunter drops the survivor to fix the chair the survivor can escape and not still be knocked down it's better than hunters being unable to fix the chair

Thats just too op. characters like forward, seer, merc, wilding, gravekeeper can just use their abilities once they get up and kite hunter for another 60s
As a Prisoner main I'd say he's like A/B Tier, his stun is very handy in tight situations but his connection leads to data loss that can stop a cipher rush from making progress. Teammates also tend to put it on 48% which makes it so much slower (I usually do 24% so it's more evenly distributed and quicker). He is really good for popping a long-distance primed cipher and he's helped me secure 2-3 Ciphers quickly before so I'll give him that. :,) As for kiting, he is scary to kite with due to his debuff BUT his connections make really good kiting areas (I like to make connections where teammates are kiting so they can get some distance while the hunter gets stunned) If The hunter destroys his connections immediately though then he loses some value (No stun recharge, no connection; he just becomes a regular decoder). That's my opinion doe I just rlly like maining Luca! I'm somewhat new to the game so I'm still trying to learn some things but I've been working on my strategy for him so hopefully, it works out in the long run :,D
I thought Gardener is tier B? Because she's very fast, if she broke the chair it will help survivor to struggle and when survivor placed in chair that broke by gardener, it will slow down the flying countdown.
Its a good list but for example i mean wilding is a good kiter and can rescue others from being carried away to the rocket chair and embalmer can rescue his teamates even thought he isnt gonna go at the chair to save them...and he can use a coffin for him,if he gets on chair and gets rescued he can use a coffin on a teamate too..
Cowboy.. : Not only good at support and kite.., they are extremely OP at rescuing teammates in a right hands. Postman : Not obly great at givibg teammates buff.. But also a great koter since he can slow down th hunter and giving hin self a Speed buff. Thief.. 85% 3 - 5 chiper kite if u great at using flash light + just like mercenary.., his vaulting is extremly fast ( even in the lowest speed )
Late reply but a while ago Gardener got a mini buff where she gains a 5 second shield after she loses it or the duration ends, its pretty good in my opinion, wouldn't say she's meta but she's good in kiting at least, she kind of does counter some hunters like Mad Eyes and I think BQ with her mirror, the only downside is that in order to not get hit while in the duration of getting the shield while standing still, you have to get the timing correctly and her weakness is hunters with 2-3 skills that break the shield.
I think at kitting the best is Perfumer,her 3 lives Perfume helps her a lot,and if the Perfumer knows how to kite she can do like 5 chipers kite with or without Perfumes. So that makes her S tier or A+ Her only flaw is feeding hunters presence. (My opinion)
Great video, I agree almost with everything except prisoner because he's actually transferring the decoding speed. Even nerfed mechanic is more viable than him. Hope you make a hunter tier list because I want to see where you put new buffed leo and Galatea :D
Embalmer too F tier, cause he gameplay it Russian ruilet, You save somebody and win or you loss coffin, and be useless all time. Lawer can make 100% rescue, but too more useless in matches. Wilding it B or A tier, cause he can help kiter teammate. And he more support character than rescuer
As a Postman main, I find the perks of sending letters just a tad bit... just almost useless? Key note; almost. Every time I send a letter, my team mate will get downed just immediately after receiving, which immediately goes to show that there should be some sort of adjustments with the buffs that Postman gives, especially with how long it takes to just send a letter and having to wait to send one if someone gets downed before the letter even arrives. Not to mention, the running boost isn't that long nor even that fast. It isn't enough to get away from the hunter and unless perfectly timed (which is nearly impossible if you're away from the person that is kiting), the person will get downed, regardless of having that buff. Postman isn't the best support character, he's honestly just half-way decent when it comes to actually being around survivors that need the letters. Otherwise, not only is he extremely difficult to work with when it comes to sending letters at the perfect times, just his overall buffs from letters don't really seem to help all that much.
Before buff, doctor can't heal whike kiting. That is the only problem about doctor before. While barmaid can heal while kiting and insta heal teammate (really good for low heal surv like merc, perfumer, enchantress)
I still dont get why people still dont add Norton to S tier, the guy can decode fast af as long as you hit all perfect calibrations. Can rescue a survivor from the balloon and can also rescue from a chair as long as you long stun the hunter. The guy can heal so fast, and can kite, and if you’re lucky, get the attraction passive skill when you get near a locker or cipher machine and then widen the distance between you and the hunter. Yes, bq and excitement is the best counter for him but with other hunters he’s amazing.
While I agree with this Tier list. It's important to note a lot depends on how you use the characters. There are some wildings that will make your life hell whether you chase them or not. Same for explorers, if they know how to hide well and minimal kiting.
Imo he's better than how this tier list makes him out to be, but he's still a Bad Character. His Anti-Terror shock trait is something good for New Players, and his Map helps him hide and know where everyone and everything is. Lucky Guy is the worst Character. Why? Cause he opens chests to get an item that isn't guaranteed, it's just higher chance of receiving, and even if he does, it's an Item that's worse compared to the original. Everyone who has an Exchangeable item is pretty much doing what lucky Guy is doing
No Lawyer is not bad, 1st Soldier is just joking lol Lawyer is C tier when you don't have voice communication. But when Lawyer does have vc, he's a high B tier because he has the best rotating potential in the game that he can provide to his teammates and can waste time early game which is the current meta after all.
Very nice tier list. For me, Acrobat and Doctor would be at A tier, Wildling is at C tier, Thief and Lucky Boy at D tier. It's my own taste though, no hate and your tier list is good :D
Moh gameplay If a hunter finds him, he doesn’t have downsides that hinder his kiting ability. His shock can be used to give him a sec to reach a pallet. He can kinda slow down the hunter when they destroy the cipher connection. He can connect to ciphers that are closed to being finished that no one is working one because they went for the rescue.
He doesn’t have a kiting debuff and for a decoder, thats pretty good. He can also speed up slow decoding characters that are usually needed the most like forward or cowboy. Also the electric current generated from the cipher is pretty useful. If ever you get spotted first, you can give yourself some time to escape bc most of the hunters destroy priso’s connection
There are some things wrong with this tier list: grave keeper is s tier because he has a garraunteed 60 sec kite can rescue and survive for atleast 30 during detention if he has another shovel, if merc gets banned( which is more often than not) then grave keeper is a must not question. Minds eye: yes she has a good decoding speed, but in this meta finishing ciphers faster isnt the goal, cipher rushing is which are two completely different things, and she can see the hunter for like 5 secs then has to wait 44 secs to see the hunter again so she cant rotate easily. Minds would be D-C tier because she can still help the team with rotation. Lucky guy: F tier no question because hes like every other character without the buffs and you have to be LUCKY to get what you want, key word lucky because your not garraunteed a good item if you open a chest, let alone the item you want. F tier Finally lawyer: he is B tier because his buff makes him way better, he can see hunter and survivors for a good bit before his map runs out, on coms that would be great for rotations and early kiting, his no terror shock is good too so you can be sure he wont get terror shock the first 2 secs of the game( im talking to all the bad players rn XD) so he has a decent kite and plus he makes a great rescue because unless its bonbon or vio or any camper hunter, he can rescue like against bq, dw, wu chang all of the meta hunters. So that was what i saw wrong with the list i hope you will read this keep up the good work!
No he's C tier thief Is a Better kiter and lawyer resuing ? No , a good BQ will point the Mirror in front of you and then 2 hit on you , a good wuchang use black form when someone Is in chair , hit you First the use the Bell 2 hit, dw She will Always hit you after rescue and will use patroller to get the 1st hit on you and the second Is easy
he is not weak. He can decode fast but he always decode 2 cipher/gate at same time. that why he is slow. And his electric area can stun hunter. His ability is unlimited, he is best decoder for me
