I've watched several videos of American yoga channels doing exercises but none of them put any emphasis on the posture and form. I first learnt yoga when I was 11 years old and the guru taught that even an inch of misalignment in your pose can lead to pain and injury if not corrected for a very long time. It is very crucial to perform yoga with correct form and posture. Thanks sir. I relived my childhood watching your explanation.

I had been taught the basics of suryanamaskaram back in school. Thought I'd go back to doing it. But had doubts like when exactly to breathe, how to place the toes in different postures, how far to stretch or bend and about what all to take care of. I thought I'd have to watch various videos in order to have a proper understanding of all these but your video is pretty exhaustive and helpful. Thanks a tonne!!!!
I hve been doing yoga few years..at a late age... Tq.. So much.. One of the best video I ever saw... Clearly explained.. I avoid doing surya namaskar due to knee pain and slip disc.. This video has been made with such simplicity explanation that I start doing surya Namskar daily.. Getting better each day... The explanation how we can adjust ourselves due to pains has greatly gave confidence and fragility to do surya Namskar.. Tq so much.. God's blessing for you sir.. ... Can you alternate between putting your right and left leg back as you do the flow a few times to keep even or should you always put your right leg back?
I restarted Surya namaskar after a long time and wanted to revise the steps and breathing before doing ... And this is the best video for learning Surya namaskar...and the icing on the cake is you teach for beginners too...thank you for steps of breathing while doing it...also, you are saying at a moderate speed that we can do along with the video...thank you so much for such detailed video!

Wonderfully explained. Just wanted to clear up for myself.. after the mountain position, need to get the right leg in front, so that right leg in 90 degree and left is straight, as in the beginning it is the left leg at 90 degrees. This way both legs get the same stretch exercise in a single round. This is what I've seen from others, is that correct?
