I read the ‘Illness as Metaphor’ as a background reading to a couple of my NE Indian origin lit fiction texts. It was really good.

after sontag, i read butler and reflected on her concept of grievability. i looked at the picture and the discourse surrounding aylan kurdi. very exciting.
