She is suseelan raman...she was born in foreign country.. But her parents are belongs to indian state tamilnadu.... After some years, she came tamilnadu to do research on tamil language, devoted to god murugan, and learnt carnatic and hindustani music... And now she is doing fusions of tamil devotional songs with qawwalis of urdu....... Sss it seems to be a collab of very old classical language of india and sufuism of Pakistan.... So it shows wonderful bridge to india and Pakistan... And also Hinduism [tamil god murugan] and islam... Ssss hence it well said *INCREDIBLE INDIA A SECULAR COUNTRY*

Music appreciation is a subjective thing. The positive thing from this 2012 video is that the music is crossing boundaries and bringing people together, India and Pakistan , North and South India , East and West. If people dislike that and prefer to keep to an insulated bubble that is their choice, but in reality music, ideas and inspirations travel in time and space and find changing expressions. There is NO disrespect intended here, but it seems a lot of people are getting high on their own fake outrage and negative projections. Nobody is forcing them to watch, or stopping them from making their own offerings. To the 'haters' and trolls i would say you are describing your OWN limitations. You are what you see. All is one.

Being a bengali I can't understand lyrics without hindi but her soulful voice mesmerized me...

It's real bad to criticize someone destructively for their way of doing things. The lady seems to dance in ecstasy because she sings with her heart, her energy even spreads to the qawwals. For people who have not achieved such a state, those who have not experienced such bliss, it might seem like madness. There is another music that flows under whàt you hear, the music of devotion. This is a masterpiece. Like Nietzsche said, those who were dancing were thought to be insane by the ones who couldn't hear the music.

Many may criticise you but i feel you are bringing the song to a different level where it has its on follower. Congratulations
