Had a cassette tape one time of Susie singing The Love of God and it was so beautiful. I thought I might find it again but I guess not. Was very interesting hearing her speak. Thank you.
I’ve watched every Reba interview but very little about Susie. I knew she was married before. Had no idea how bad it was for her. So happy she is no longer stuck. So many blessings to the McEntires!!

Susie, I discovered the Cowboy Church tv show when I was getting ready for work, at 2:30 a.m. and I adored the fellowship. A year later, I looked for you again online and found this. So sweet of you to tell us your story. I wept with you, I'm afraid I am going through a similar one.
My Mom is a twin so we too were raised close to our cousins. Like you say in your interview we think of each other as brothers and sisters. I am so blessed to have them and my aunt in my life.

This woman is my hero and I am her #1 fan I just love her and look up to her so much I do credit her for alot I seriously am a highly stressed person but only her music can calm me she has no idea what she as a person has done for me cause thank you isnt enough, a hug isnt enough to tell her what all I went through I had a rough childhood from being made to feel like I am truly nothing to being abused in a different way by a family member I was supposed to trust but Susie's songs rings through my heart everyday I even have some of them in my video game I love to play just to have her that much closer to me I used to have a "safe place" but if I were closer I would hang out w Susie I love her, trust & respect her and feel very safe w her shes my role model, hero, friend, and a part of my family now she says God's blessed her w so much, God blessed me too I have someone who can calm the waters for me when I feel like im falling, sinking, drowning etc

As a SURVIVOR of horrendous atrocious abuse my entire childhood and most of my life... Even now where I am living I am being abused by a family of psycho punk ass thugs in front of me! Which just bustes my GD truck window all over my truck in the middle of the night like this past TR/ Friday night for me to find like Friday/Sat morning! Then they came over and assulted me with my own truck door! So at 57 now MY BAD TX OR ABUSE HAS NOT ENDED!! NO PEACE! NO LOVE! ALONE! Thanks to abuse of ALL kind sexual included... And TORTURE as well! Before these psycho thug punks did this recent shit I have been working with a beautiful strong Therapist!! Who is like my soul sister!!! We r sooo much alike in our lives!! Sadly this has set me back some! I was flipping channels tonight trying to take my mind off my physical and mental PAIN... And how poor I am and how bad things r with no way out.... And I came across this on Circle ⭕! And u drew me in!! What u said!! How u said it!! Ur tears!!! Ur pain!! Ur abuse!! ANDDD UR STRENGTH AND UR BEAUTY!!!! U AND REBA R SO DAMNED BEAUTIFUL IN SO MANY WAYS!!! U know! I have always LOVED Country music!!! It is what got me thru my bad life of abuse and pain!! And when I was much younger I would have these dreams often about ur sister REBA!! In my repeated dreams always her always real....in the dreams I was like somehow?? In some place she was gonna be doing a concert!? Maybe working??? I don't know?? And so when they were done and the lights were off or dn? I went rt there in the spot she was doing her show practice!? And I thought WOW!!! AND THOUGHT SHE WAS GONE! BUT THEN SHE CAME OUT AND SAW ME AND JUST STARTED TALKIN TO ME AND HANGIN WITH ME....LIKE NORMAL CONVERSATION!? AND I KEPT THINKING AND SAYING WOW LIKE OMG IT'S HER IT'S U IT'S REBA!! I'M REALLY HERE SHE'S REALLY HERE...TALKING TO ME!!! HAD MANY MANY DREAMS OF THIS TYPE ABOUT HER! NO OTHER ARTIST EVER!!!! JUST UR SISTER! AND IT USED TO GIVE ME HOPE THAT ONE DAY IT MIGHT HAPPEN OR COME TRUE!!?? BUT AT 57 NOW AND THINGS BAD LIKE THEY R! I KNOW IT WAS ALWAYS JUST THAT! A STUPID DREAM!!☹️ THAT WILL NEVER COME TRUE!!!!☹️ DREAMS HAVE NEVER COME TRUE FOR ME! AND MANY LIKE ME!! AND I KNOW NOW THEY WONT!! U know I don't know why but I NEVER knew that reba had anything but her brother Pake!? And honestly I have never seen any of u or seen any of u perform but her! SO I GOTTA CHECK U OUT NOW ON SINGIN! I play the guitar! And sing alone! I seldom EVER allow anyone else to hear me! Because I always think they will hate me and laugh at me and make fun of me!!! My abuse has NEVER allowed me to be what I love!!! Or whoever I am!!?? When ur raped beaten TORTURED for most ur life!!?? U just don't believe in urself!!! Or have any confidence at all!!! And so I still don't!! But my therapist resently had called me while I was practicing my guitar with country music... If I also sing or could! And I told her only when I'm alone and she laughed at that! But went on to say that I sounded like I might also sing and have a good voice! So we talked about music and that was our session... So I sit up all night trying to do record and send her a phone recording of a few songs... And so next time we talked she said how much she liked it and how she really allowed herself to sink deeply into it! And well... For the 1st time I felt encouraged to follow and do more of what I love!!! But now with all this new beating I am taking I don't feel so good about things now! Anyways.... I guess I said all of this to tell u that UR STORY STOOD OUT TO ME!!! I FELT UR PAIN UR SUFFERING!!! MADE ME CRY FOR U!!?? AND WELL IN THE END I FEEL HAPPY FOR THE GOOD MAN AND LIFE U HAVE NOW!! SO..... FROM SOME OLD COUNTRY GAL THAT LOVES PLAYING AND SINGING ALONE.... AND WHO SAW SOME OF ME IN U I GUESS... WELL I JUST WANT TO THANK U FOR SHARING UR STORY!!! 🤔🤗😢🙂 So THANKS!! Too bad we didn't know each other during those times... I think we could have maybe helped each other like u trying to share ur story now! My therapist says that my life and story... Would be like the most dramatic one EVER if any shows ever got hold of my real story and truth!! She says I got em all beat! But how sad is that!!?? 😢🤔 Says she's WRITTING a book and is gonna put me and much about my story in it... Doubt it... But maybe one day I'll find out for sure?? In the meantime I am just trying hard to work with the most freakin awesome cool ass therapist ever!!! If u and her ever met ud freakin love her and find her awesome and great to!! Well if u ever read this! Tell ur sister REBA about my dreams of meeting her and having an awesome conversation with her! And that she has always been one of my most important female idols and country female artist! I always loved her early music!!! And it is still her best!!! Though I do like a few newer ones to!? But her older awesome hits did it for me!! I am still a fan! And now! I am a fan of URS!!! But for ur personal story!!! Maybe one day u will be near Whiteville NC and I can come hear or meet u!?
