I've been wondering why my top cap keeps eating itself. I only have 1 washer and the boot doesn't have that piece of metal embedded in it, Any ideas how I can put together something to replace that? I'm about to just toss in any washer that fits.
Is it not recommended to move up one spot for extra lift to level the complete kit from ADO? Installed as assembled but still a little to much rake .... or would that require new UCA?
we offer the 1/2" spacer if you want a little more lift in the front. the bilstein with the ADO spring maxes out the shock and going another notch up can break the shock. you should have just enough clearance with the spacer and the bilstein to not require arms but can't guarantee it.
search “KYB SM5698 - Strut Mount Kit” and “KYB SM5699 - Strut Mount Kit” on Amazon, the metal top hat comes separate from the rubber part that goes against the top of the spring
not sure it’s exactly the same one but looks extremely close if not identical to the ones I bought off amazon. got moog springs, and Bilstein 4600’s to go with it.
