First time commenting as I watch from my TV but had to hop on my cell to comment on Anthony. You seem to have the same ADHD as I do and your personality doesn't like confrontation or letting down those you deem as friends. Anthony truly seems to like you guys BUT he has gauged you from previous interactions (and probably by watching you). You don't have to stop going to that booth or stop dealing with him, but you do need to have a reset that allows him to know you don't "need" his merchandise and are willing to walk if the numbers aren't more to your liking (you put things back and/or don't buy stuff all the time at garage sales when the price isn't right, look inside and adk what makes it difficult to do so with Anthony. He is not the guy that just wants to get rid of stuff. Which means his asking prices are always going to be higher & ugh it hurts my heart when I see you go total out with him. Not just this deal but all the deals. We (you & I) have the two different kinds of ADHD where you like the crowds and the hype. I do not. I am very introverted & it can be a superpower because I see things like this quicker and red flag it. i watch all your content man, on every channel even the theme park channel. and the only time i ever fast forward during one of your videos is when you are at that guys booth. its so chaotic you make bad decisions when you're there, and the guy himself just kind of rubs me the wrong way.

Love your flea market vid’s. You get some good stuff. As seen from your last video when you bought them two bags of plush to this video. It seems Anthony gave you a higher price this time for a smaller amount of items.

Anthony is so annoying and a conman. He charges way over the odds when he has probably bought the stuff for pennies. I would stop going to him because he is too expensive for what a lot of it is rubbish

For the most part, I stay away from flea markets. I have found the prices to be WAY too high and the carnival like atmosphere gives me a headache. The fellow in the yellow jacket was super annoying. I know they make lots of noise to get people’s attention, but I found the fellow in the yellow jacket to be super annoying and WAY too loud. Give me yard sales and the occasional thrift store…NOT flea markets. Don’t want to get bitten by one of the “fleas.”

I hate hearing that guy at the flee market! 😂 Probably because this is what certain yard sale people sound like, trying to upsell there trash. He should be paying you to take that stuff, as he says "for the exposure alone"!

He uses his showmanship as a tool to bedazzle you. Great for him. BAD for a reseller! I walk away all the time from so called “ I’ll make you a great deal!” When looking up comps.. I use the lowest as a gauge as my standard to see if I’ll make a profit. Not the high comp.

Dave, he was right about the handles. I've probably sold 30 or so baskets and collectors know to not pick them up by the handles because that can be a weak spot. Also to know if it is a fenton basket, where it attaches will have a design on it. Each glass blower has their own mark they use so you can identify the maker.

He distracts you with his "patter" and bluster, and you "eat it up with a spoon" Interact with him if you enjoy it, but, DON'T buy from him until you walk away and do some research on the them items he's trying to strong-arm off on you. He may or may not have known that the bail (handle) had a crack. I have always heard that the bails on these pieces are strictly decorative and are not to be used as a handle. The same is true with handling older pitchers. The handles become frailer with time and may not support the weight of the pitcher whether empty of filled.

Sometimes the best deals are the ones that don't happen, IMO. I have similar relationships and I simply say, "it just doesn't work for me" and there are no issues with the sellers. They get it. ✌

he knows your a youtuber and a reseller and he going to keep charging you based on that your a bigger know guy then the average buyer i would say with your idea of not sourcing and staying away will then give him idea of the money you bring to the table as far as buying but your right never hurts to re think things when your business is affected if it aint good business then it aint good business he not the only game in town

Regarding the elderly gentleman who did not seem to know there was a crack in the handle - to me he seemed genuinely surprised that there was a crack there. He did say he could not see it and handed the basket to someone else to look for the crack. As a reseller who is getting older and has become increasingly frustrated trying to check for cracks or other damage before listing my items - I feel his pain. It is common knowledge that pieces of glass with handles are not to be lifted by the handle so I do not find that suspicious. I rarely comment but you did ask what we thought and I felt compelled to defend the well-meaning gentleman (my opinion).

I love your videos and stuff bro, but myself personally, I’ve know you know him and he gives you deals, but just cause he hooks you up, I wouldn’t tell people you brought with you that just make a pile and go from there. Just cause he hooks you up don’t mean it’s for everyone. Just my opinion, like myself I do tattoos in my spare time, like a friend or family member etc of course are going to get a better price than some random you know what I mean. My point is exactly what he did. Went from 150 too 90 and that was still too much in you and your friends eyes.

I think the guy with the Fenton basket was just blind. And he was careful about handling any glass basket by the handle. Did you see him ask the other man to look at the handle after he said he couldn't see? Then again, you are correct that a Fenton like that would retail much higher if undamaged. Most shops usually have lower than retail prices on a damaged item.😊

Anthony is very high at times. He values his items too much at times. He is a great guy but for reselling he isn't the greatest guy to get things from. Some days he is very reasonable others not so much. Still a good dude.

It is very common knowledge when dealing with glass or similar to not pick it up by the handles. Handles are generally the weakest point. I was actually surprised you guys didn't know that . I have been saying for a while that i bet Anthony is glad when he sees you coming. I am not saying Anthony is a crook because it is your choice weather or not to buy from him.

Eh the guy is making a living too but yeah if he is dealing in quantity he needs to have reasonable prices. Otherwise he can box them up individually and ship them like you do.

I don't approve of his tactics. He comes out as a nice guy but it seems he's deceiving people by saying "it's impossible to lose" , when you know that it is possible to lose. I think he knows this as well and he could have chosen not to say anything at all, but instead chose the less truthful path. Not cool and that would make me not want to do business with him again.
