Sustainability is really one of the most important topics of this time.
But what I think is that it's very important to connect sustainability with an individual experience. So rather than just using sustainability as a marketing tool with saying, Hey, we are sustainable, travel with us, I think we need more ways to connect sustainability to an individual traveler. Many airliners are doing that, allowing you to pay a couple of euros extra to compensate the CO2 that you're generating. And what I also really like is that more and more hotels allow you to decide if you want your hotel bedsheets to be cleaned every two or three days, or if you maybe even don't want to have your room clean every day, which obviously if this would be an option in all hotel rooms in the world, would have a massive impact on sustainability. So we need more sustainability but in a way, I think, that we allow individual travelers to be in control of it to also make them more aware, but also to respect the fact that maybe some people don't necessarily want more sustainability.
