Thank you thank you so much for not playing annoying music throughout video. !!!!! So few channels nowadays without distracting loud music on the background Love watching your channel! Amazing info without distracting loud music 👍 Please keep it that way 🙏🏻🙏🏻💕
I have watched your video’s for years. You are very talented is an under statement. Your home pond is my very favorite. But then see this one. You continue to astound me.
When I watched the first and second video's I felt for you guys, I know that sinking feeling so well when there's rocks n shite everywhere, it's cold n wet and you kinda think it will never end, plus the client feels the same way! But then one day you suddenly finish and it's like a dream! You know once I get my decent video gear I will do a video on pond builder psychology because it can be a lonely stressful place at times
Thank you for this! lovely to see how your work is truly MEANT to be seen - once all the construction is done, the landscaping and fish added and life has a chance to reward your efforts! Would love to see this on all your best projects! Again, and sincerely, thank you!
Great work with the b-roll drone footage, I like being able to see the pond from so many different angles, and WOW did that pond turn out amazing! Even better than I imagined it would be. Truly masterful work by you, Ed, Chris and team! This video was worth the wait. 👍
Thank you for that positive plug for the string algae. The algae could probably be used for compost. Love that fire pit, yeah we're changing our fire pit too. So many great ideas. Thank you before & afters. Also for giving us such awesome ideas.
I would love to have a water feature. So relaxing it would be. My husband and I just bought our very first house and something like this would be so amazing to come home to! Thanks for sharing! Your team always does amazing work!
Good afternoon Brian and team aquascape hope your all having an amazing day. Wow love love the pond. It looks so awsome and natural. Love all the landscape and sitting area. Another amazing pond like always. Love the staircase into the pond its awsome .have an amazing day and I'll see you next video like always
I’ve been waiting for this one. It’s absolutely beautiful. The pond is about the same size as my entire garden. Don’t suppose you’d like to come over to Scotland and make a pond for a wee Scottish Aquascape fan? 🏴😀
Hey fellas, can ya tell me how many pumps are in this, 3 or 4? there's gonna be one to each of the wetland filters, but is it just one more pump going to the spillways with a split, or actually 2 single pumps? This definitely look like the way to go, I love it..
Dear Brian. Would you please telling us how the bog filter working during the winter? As in mine, all plants dying out, so my pond full of string algea... even i have a shade almost cover my pond...
It’s obviously fantastic, but..I’m wondering if some more repetition in the plant selection could make it..well..less “busy” looking, and slightly more natural. It’s so visually busy that I have a hard time not seeing all the busy-ness and the whole setting. I can’t complain about the thing as a whole, it’s fantastic, beautiful, a wonder..I just think a little more cohesion would make a bit more relaxed, natural environment..and can you please build it in my backyard??
The foreman notes just say “$50k+” but I’d love to know a better estimate...we’d love to add something like this to our yard, but $100k would be WAY out of the budget. Getting a cost estimate / breakout w/ core vs options would be a huge help. Obviously each project is unique, but having a reference point would help a lot of prospective customers budget/save/estimate/etc.
It's a beautiful pond but it *DEFINITELY* has an algae problem. That water is *NOT* clear (and the underwater shots make that pretty obvious). It's actually a pretty common problem with Aquascape systems, but in this case it's because there aren't enough aquatic plants in the pond to balance the nitrates. When you pointed out the second bog filter and I just saw a gravel pit I was not surprised at all to see algae growing everywhere like crazy. Also, no bottom drain, so fish poo is gonna build up on that "under water patio" of yours pretty quick. Between that and the algae that grows on it, this pond is going to need frequent cleanouts. And those are gonna be fun without a bottom drain to empty the pond so you can bring in a pressure washer. And I didn't see a skimmer - your 3000 gallon "tank" might serve OK, but you'll get a huge buildup of sunken leaves and debris on that gravel that will also need cleaned regularly. You'll need to pond vac this thing at least twice a year. It's gorgeous, but not nearly as low maintenance as you say it will be.
