I was riding for about 8-10 hours a day on this trip for 10 days in the row. I've never felt (too) tired. I have upgraded my Suzuki with few mods thou. One of the mods is handlebar riser which improved the comfort quite a lot. I would say that in general is the GSX-S 1000 GT good touring bike with a decent comfort.
I have reseted consumption average counter before starting the Route des Grandes Alpes trip which was approximately 3300 km long. I was alone on the motorbike with filled panniers and top case. Trip was full of high mountain passes and at the end of the trip my average consumption was 5.1L/100Km. Of course this depends on riding style ...
Actually not bad at all. Due to the fact that I have a second motorcycle, a big-fat-comfy bmw GS which is very comfortable for pillion I was expecting that due to Suzukis rear seat size there will be just complains ... there were basically none ... I have a top case on the bike so you can also lean back but the seat ergonomic is actually quite good. Also the passenger foot pegs are quite comfy.
Hey there. Thank you! I wish the same to you and lots of fun with your GSX-S GT! I have an SP-connect holder and SP connect phone case. The holder is actually Chinese copy from AliExpress for 15€ but is of very good build quality and it fits my original phone case perfectly. I think I can still find exact product link if you will be interested. Cheers mate!
@@goksel8722 this is the handlebars phone mount: de.aliexpress.com/item/1005005105280513.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.3.5f0e6368LkBsjv&gatewayAdapt=glo2deu They have many different variants. The one I'm using on my GSX-S 1000 GT is "Bar Clamp Mount-C". Surprisingly the build quality of this one is/was really good.
HI there! As a device I'm using an old Iphone 6s. I run Sygic app on it. Are you familiar with it? Sometimes I also just use Google offline maps. Greetings!
@@marioarmani9808 It is compatible and I like the app. I still have an old version of Sygic, the one before the subscription version. I do not like the Suzukis connectivity, it's a bit disappointing ... :( Let me know your experience. How do you like the bike?
