It pains everytime they appreciate ARR for this song and not Harris Jayaraj. I understand the confusion, as the Hindi version of this movie was music composed by ARR. But it still pains when they talk about quality of sound as though ARR is the only musician from India. Harris was equally memorable musician during early 2000s. Hope they do the research right before giving credits to some random artists next time.

Guys I know you guys love AR sir so much, but this song credit is for Harris Jayaraj sir. And the telugu version of this is something with which I spent all my childhood. So the person who created this sensation should get the credit. AR sir did music for the film ghajini ,which also had amazing songs but much much later than this film. But this surya's ghajini is a madness for south people ,so pls give them the credits

@korbin and @rick - I think you were misguided or understood wrongly - the music director for this song is Harris Jayaraj ( you have reacted to few of his compositions) the Hindi version is the remake of Tamil movie Ghazini and the ARR is the music director for the Hindi movie. This Tamil song is composed by Harris Jayaraj My suggestions on Harris Jayaraj : Manjal Veliyil Malayile, June pona July kaatre.

Both Ghajinis are not exactly "remakes" of Memento, but the memory loss aspect of Memento was taken and was sort of "Indianized(?)" This is also a revenge thriller, but with different characters and a different plot.

Always read clearly who did the music and give the credits. Harris Jayaraj had worked in numerous ARR songs as a musician. And then became independent music director and he is almost considered as a competitive composer to ARR.

2:46 The director for both the movies are same. Hindi is the remake of the Tamil original but Tamil was not a remake but just inspiration from Memento (2000) and the 1951 film Happy Go Lovely. Technically not an exact usual remake with the additional Indian things.

You guys should probably listen to the whole bgm composition from this movie. Its really really good. Even listening to the score brings back the whole emotion of the movie. Still my most favourite movie to date. Been watching this movie atleast once every 2 or 3 months since I was five. So I've probably watched it like a 100 times and the bgm is still so encapsulating and immersive. The tamil Ghajini bgm by Harris Jayaraj is too good to pass off
