When I went to urgent care the other day for a pretty deep wound on my hand, they had me clean it. I have no idea what I’m doing. I’m a painter. I don’t think that I should’ve been the person to clean it and I don’t think I cleaned it properly.
Jo - Ann it’s not rude at all. Patients are allowed to wear whatever they want. Although the risk of splatter is low in this situation, I do see some patients wear masks in the clinic just to avoid air born viruses and bacteria exposure.
Jo - Ann my apologies, I read it wrong. No it is not rude. The patients understand. It works both ways. This wasn’t too messy of a procedure to be wearing too much protective wear. Sometimes I wear a mask if someone is coughing alot and seems real sick.
