@@trailrunning7773 thanks. Yes it is. I can’t leave it to part with my Race. In a perfect world, they could come up with the battery of the Vertical, the processor and hr of the race s and screen of the race. Suunto, are you listening?😆
Nice video. Unfortunately you confirm my worries about the Gorilla Glass, I don't like scratches on a screen 😅. Do you think a screen protector would be sufficient or will there be a Race S with Sapphire glass?
Thank you. If you are worried about Gorilla Glass, I’d go for a screen protector. TBH, I can’t see them releasing a sapphire model anytime soon, especially at that price. Thanks for watching!
@@christianafrica I had the 965 last year and if it were me, I’d go with this as it’s a lot less expensive. That’s just me. Some are big Garmin fan people.
To me the raceS is much better in: screen, app, build quality, ethic of finland made and the look ! The gadget "functions" of garmin are often half useless half bullshit so beside the price the RaceS is better to me.
My pleasure. I believe I am 182mm. The Race S fits well, but I did send it back for 2 reasons (and not because of anything wrong). 1. I like a larger device for my old eyes :) 2. i don’t trust myself without sapphire so I am still rocking my Race. Hope this helps!
@@fabii85 I honestly don’t think the titanium makes that much of a difference. Yes, it is stronger overall but for the price, I don’t think it’s needed. That’s just my opinion.
@@smnwlsh I saw that on the Suunto website. I’m not sure if they expected the demand to be so good right now or they have a limited supply. It’s priced to go for sure.
