Watched your review in German last week but since my German is not the best (although subtitles help) I was hoping you'd make an English version of it. Thank you!
Nice review as always. Loved the watch, the only catch is the screen, I do prefer MIP, but OLED is the new standard (unfortunately). Unless someone has a disease, I don't see value in using the HR to weight lift training, maybe for calisthenics.
I own a Garmin 255, I'm happy with it, but I liked the Coros world better both in terms of interface and use of my pace 3, now I'm considering the idea of switching to Suunto race, what do you think? Then I would like to ask you, seeing your review of the normal Suunto race and I saw the problem on the intervals that does not indicate which one you are on, could you tell me if the problem has been solved with an update I have with the release of this race S? I have to know if it will be resolved
@@rpgeraltofrivia4626 Thank you! 😊 It has improved slightly after the update but still not the best for sports like strength training. Anyway, definitely a great choice!
@@luisrazormax2861 Yeah, think I will wait for the Fenix 8 to release and then pick up a used Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar. Better battery, maps, a bit bigger (FR255 is a bit small for me) and looks better (imo). Sensor-wise it's nearly identical, and that's fine honestly. I've come to the conclusion that wearing an amoled on my wrist is not what I want in a watch, I prefer the more 'analog' experience of MIP.
Normally I always choose the black or grey options, so pretty boring. So the first few days, I didn’t really know what to think about the orange band but I like it more and more everyday 😊
I genuinely feel Suunto purposely does something to all their watches to not make it the perfect watch. In this case, no sapphire screen. They could have put a sapphire screen in this, charged 400$ and BAM. It would still be cheaper than the Garmin Forerunner 265 or certainly 965.
Correct, but just put a screen protector on it and you are fine anyway. As the glass is flat compared to the 965 or 265 it is easy to do and looks better than the curved ones for the garmins. 😉
