Suzhou embroidery, or Su embroidery, one of China’s oldest traditional arts, originated in Suzhou, a city west of Shanghai in eastern China. Artisans use needles and clothes almost like a pen and paper to create beautiful patterns, meticulous embroidery and elegant colors. The beauty of Su embroidery lies in its delicateness, fine textures, gradual, soft and detailed designs.
