the C90 Boulevard is the best motorcycle have ever rode. I like it so much I bought another one. The first one I put on 50000 hard miles then traded it in on another 2008 c90 and only 20000 easy miles on it. I have ridden motorcycles for 52 years now and have owned 26 motorcycles so I think I know what I am talking about.
Oh man ... You're so lucky to have been born in a great GREAT country . I am a Brazilian sad guy who lives in one of the worst countries in the world with a corrupt tax police and have no access to these wonderful machines at a reasonable price . I once had a boulevard m90 , but it was not as pretty as your C90 with this classic vintage look that I'm looking for today ... Suzuki does not sell the C90 anymore here in Brazil , only m50 and M109 . I think people here do not value the bikes with classic look , only the super expensive Harleys. Anyway ... God bless you and your wife !!!!
Great video and a great review. I've had my 2005 C90 for three years now and just love it! I was actually searching videos to see if anyone has had a problem smelling gas around 1/2 a tank (there is info in forums but was looking for a video) and ran across your review. Love the fuel processor idea and I keep hearing great things about that man and his company. I just recently added a universal trunk to mine and it has made a world of difference in my ability to carry larger items. Well done!
Perfect setup, just got my 05 for $2200. Just joined the Facebook page & on their forum. Sound is awesome also. My leather bags are shot, someone let it sit out in the sun, but I'm soaking them. Hope they come back to life and stretch. Later!!
I am just turned 41, Big at 6-2 and about 360 (Don't look 360, but I am 360!). I wanted to get a bike and finally be able to ride, plus free up the car for Wifey and Kids for Homeschool programs and go to the park. I thought I had a deal on a bike then the dealer sidestepped me and said the next day, they had already sold the bike I chose. So. Pissed off, I sat at home. Looking at the Bathroom floor job I need to finish. Then my buddy messaged me who I hadn't talked to in a little bit. Hey, you want a Bike, I know your are a new rider, but I got a 2006 Boulevard C90 with Gman Bully processor, and Cobra drag pipes, great shape, I will let you have it for $2000. (He had went up to a Harley 2 years ago, and kept the C90 for his dad, but his dad has no interest in riding, feels bit small for this bike). I remember many fellas around the fire station, including a bigger guy like me, had the older 1500 Intruders and loved them. I like that the C90 gained fuel injection. I really think I am gonna be happy if I check this bike out. I enjoyed your walk through!
Thanks for the video and great luck to you with your C90. I have a 2005 C90 also. I added the FI2000R auto tuner atop open Cobra exhausts and blocked off the PAIR system but it still back fired (re. no baffles). So, I put the stock exhaust back on and while it's quiet, runs perfect now and I get awesome MPG with the FI2000R tuner. I wish the after market pipes I have would have had some baffling, but that is that. Great video. Safe riding.
Got a 2008 Suzuki C90T 1500. Bought it almost 4 years ago. Had 6700 miles on it.. brand new looking. $4000 .... Try buying a HD for $4000...! I got 40,000 plus miles on it in them almost four years... I love it.. going through 3 front tires, 5 back tires... 10 oil changes... 3 batteries.. I change them , when I notice a drag noise or two. I travel with an extra battery and a jump starter pack, fix a flat and some hand tools. Less then one hundred dollars worth of break down stuff toget me home without a tow truck or ruining someone’s afternoon saving me. I help others that break down with my kit more so then anything I need. It’s a solid bike. Went up the Galveston bridge at 110 mph 6-7 times in my owning it.. it’ll go faster for sure... But I don’t wanna..🤗
I purchased a used 2008 Suzuki C90T 1500, in June of 2022, it had 6500 miles on it, it looked brand new purchased it for $3,900. Best purchase I have made. I love this motorcycle the color is Metallic Black. It rides very smooth.
Note: While taking off the tear drop PAIR equipment cover is a nice touch, just for those on a tight budget, you simply need to block the rubber hoses off in that tear drop cage to disable the PAIR system. A plastic golf tee and some tie wraps do the trick nicely. There are videos on RU-vid about blocking it off, but basically it's as simple as removing the hoses and blocking them off with bolts or plastic golf tees etc. You can try that first to test the tuner and setup before converting (just in case you want to go back to stock for some reason). Spelled PAIR wrong in initial post. Forgive. ;-)
Great video. I too have an 06 C90T. Like the chrome cover replacements you have. Just found them online and ordered. Enjoy your ride, they’re great bikes
I have a 2004 Suzuki Intruder VL1500. Almost identical to yours except for the colour scheme and mine has carbs. I even have the Vance and Hine pipes. Its been a great bike and very reliable. Really like those chrome aftermarket covers I will have to check those out. Thanks.
Don't apologize for the length of your video... it is extremely informative. I just bought an 05 Bully C90T with 17,500 on it. I love all your additional chrome. Wish you would have put links to the sites where you got your add ons. But great video! I can't wait to ride!
@Frank / Gman Industries carries the pair valve removal kit. @TheMakarov9, nice video. You are right on the money with your comments. The C90 & Legendary Classic (LC) are simply a terrific valve. Well over 100k mile bikes with normal service, and additional fuel cells or Gman Gtank are available too for added fuel supply needs. I'm usually ready for a break after 100 miles though. Thanks for the video.
Gr8 vid! I'm getting ready to add a pipe and fuel mapping system, so this info is invaluable, thank you for taking the time to put it out there for us. From Ottawa with respect!! B PS The bike look sand sounds great.
Thank you for the nice review. I just bought a 06 C90T and need to go thru it. I need to address the clunky trans and go thru the whole bike. It is a stock bike with 39,000 miles. I like the bike, but it has been sitting and only used a couple of times this year. I will need help to get it up to snuff.
wow major differences in the Newer bikes, i have the 2013 C90T BOSS and the boxes you took off ARE my Air filters and my Tank IS my Gas tank holding almost 5 gallons, and with all the changes looks very much like yours. just in all Black
Bruce NHBiker I have the same bike you have and love it. It's my first bike. I need to find a gel seat and I need to have a power receptacle added to the handlebars for my gps.
I have a 2006 C90T also. Just got it a few months ago. It's my first cruiser. I've always rode sport bikes and I still have my GSXR750. But the posture isn't good for long distance. My question for you is, where did you get the Drivers back rest? How much was it?
i have 2008 gold n white alot of people think it looks like a road king mines the same exhuast n programmar i get 39 to 42 mpg i think thier like a tractor all torque with a tall 5 speed they will cruise 80 allday
I was wondering if you could tell me what the name is and where'd you get the part for your boulevard I have an 05 Suzuki boulevard c90 and I've been trying to figure out what to do and what not to do
Morning,. I was wondering if you could tell me what the exhaust are on your boulevard I haven't 05 boulevard c90 and it's just too quiet. And also do you know how to get upper end speed out of the bike. Dropping in v and the bike says okay I'm cruising 80 I can get up to a hundred but it takes me some runway to do so. People I run with 90 in about what they Cruz at when we're on the open road
I own one of these. If you are doing the interstate you should just get a GOLDWING. A used one you can get for a decent price with low mileage even if it has a few years on it. They don't have the vibration that these bikes have and are quiet and the ride is 3000% more comfortable.
I have an '07 Suzuki Bouevard C90T. Our bikes are almost identical. Where did you get the studded backrest to match the studded bags and seat of the C90T? Been looking but haven't found one yet.
I put a CE 602 rectifier on my 05 had charge issues the CE 602 fixed that just in case you ever get that. Love this bike they are reliable just maintain it and ride
Watching this because I am getting a 2008 tomorrow! Has 10, 000 miles! Want to know how to take care of it as well as the original owner! Want it to last me
Ok. I got that bike, already had the G Man controller and pair delete. Have put about 30,000 miles on it, ride it almost every day and I absolutely still love it. Had to replace the rectifier and stator not long after I bought it. Not one issue yet❤
I have a 07 C90 I had more than my sher of electronics problems my feels like it ways more than it is I had clean the lnjeters 3 time not really happy with it I had a lot of bike before I think the 07was some bad when they were made
