Enormous respect to the skilled and dedicated engineers at Suzuki for my great 1978 GS1000 and my 1991 GSX-R 1100. Those engines were indestructible and offered leading--edge performance at the time. I would buy another GSX-R if I were younger. Solid engineering and miles of enjoyment over 5 countries. Great video. All the best, Rob in Switzerland

The Japanese build the best motorcycles on the planet 40 years ago and still today. Those of us that love and have had the honor to experience riding on such affordable well made motorcycles owe the Japanese a huge thank you. Thank you Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki!

No, but a friend of mine has one that is in very good condition and he is now having electrical issues with it. I could ride it if I wanted to and I still may. He told me it's fun to ride but no more than a Japanese bike. I think all bikes are fun to ride, my problem with BMW, Arillia, Ducati is that they are not as reliable and parts cost more than Japanese. I have seven Japanese bikes from 1988 to 2012 and haven't had major problem with any and I ride a lot. I did have to have the carb's cleaned on my two oldest bikes and I did have small coolant leak on my 1997 Concours and I rode it that way for a few months until I figured out it was just a loose clamp on one of the hoses, never did over heat. People can spend their money any way they want, but I'm sticking to the four Japanese brands.

I'd love to visit those guys and shake their hands. I've been a Suzuki man ever since my first ride on my mate's 750K back in the early 1990's. What a masterpiece that was back then. Kevin Schwantz was putting his life on the line at every GP and I started saving and bought a 750L Slingshot, a bike I'd love to buy back if ever I could find it! G130 RNU WHERE ARE YOU??? I'm sorry for whatever happened to you. I got my first Sport Bike 7 months ago, Switched over from Harley. I've always wanted a GSXR and finally got one. I rode it for about 5 months. Went down 3 different times. It's sitting in my garage in need of a new front wheel and Tire, Rebuild the forks, and new fairings. Hopefully it's up in a few more months. It is definitely a whole new beast compared to what I'm used to riding. But, I finally got the bike I've wanted since I was 10.

I've owned yamaha, Honda, kawasaki, Suzuki my whole life of riding. multiple models and years from r6, r1, cbr600rr, cbr100rr, zx6r, zx10r and tbh I like different things about every bike but the GSXR has hands down never cease to amaze me. Their handling to power ratio is very easy to handle for a new rider. 07 cbr600rrs handle the best imo but as far as power the gsxr is a missile on straights. kawi has a tad bit stiff out the box and Yamahas power band is wack. gsxr boy forever.

I have owned many bikes from all four Japanese brands and also Harley. I think Suzuki 4 cylinder engines in the GSX-R's, and all those that use derivations of those engines like Bandit's, the katana, GSX-S are the best of all. Durable and can be pushed to far higher than stock power without breaking. The best shifting transmissions.... The passion for the bikes that Suzuki engineers have is evident in every bike. After riding for the last 35 years, I have two heartfelt words for the Engineers and staff at Suzuki...... Thank You!!

With quickshifter, Ohlins rear shock and some other mods on the forck and brake, I was still able to make life hazzardous for some guys on BMW S1000 and Panigales. As an owner of a 2022 Suzuki GSXR 750Z, I really appreciate the engineering and handling as well as the styling. The only thing I would like to see on my bike is a smaller LED front headlight, like or similar to the GSXR 1000, and a quick shifter. I love my gsxr 750, and it's a keeper. I don't care about all the rider aids. No need for ABS, traction control, wheelie control, ride by wire, launch control.... Keep it simple and its great for the track or street! Thanks Suzuki!!

1986 I fell in with the GSXR-1100, but at 16 at the time I could not afford the $5200 price tag. It was the bike of my dreams. Life happened and I put off from buying the bike, but in 2003, I find an 86 1100 and bought it . I still own it and every time I get it on it reminds me of why I that it was the most best bike every made back then because it was. It was a beast for its time, 0-60 in 3 seconds, come on we are talking 1986, this bike was insane. Hell bikes today can't even do that now. To put this in perspective, this bike was faster than most Teslas and Tesla was not even a thought back them. Just marinate on that for 3 seconds.

GSX-R is the best! I had the 86' 750 and 1100 models, raw and aggressive. The engines sound like perfect distortion when pushed really hard. Loved it!

That 85 750 was the best looking 750 ever, those dual headlights , the full fairing..even though it was oil cooled it still had some power. It was revolutionary. I raced a 93 gsxr 750. It had 108 rwhp which wasn't much but it was great on the track

Till this date, I still think the 2007-08 gsxr 1000 is the most good looking one out of all

Love my 2016 1000, bought it off the floor with only 1 mile, over 1400 now with thousands more to go. What a truly beautiful machine.

Have a 2004 GSXR 750 and it runs great every time I ride it. With routine maintenance they will run forever.

not sure why so many people hate on the GSX-Rs. They are bomb proof.

You're missing out. There are a LOT of bikes that are reliable and comfortable. Even a lot more than the Gsxr.

The 1985/86 gsxR750 is still one of The best looking and best handling bike on the planet! I have always wanted to own one, I have ridden a few of the 750s and 1100s over the years but those original years were amazing.

" still one of The best looking and best handling bike on the planet!" As the owner of an 86 that i fully restored, hopping onto a modern bike makes the GSX-R feel exactly what it is, old. Modern bikes handle so much better its not even funny, the brakes are incomparable also. I love my GSX-R, but they are far from being the best handling bike on the planet.😄

Had the 86/7 GSXR 750. 186KG. F1 Accel. Max torque at 7000 rpm... mas 13000 rpm... oil cooled. 6 gears. The best of the best.

Own a 2001 GSX-R 600 myself, I love it! I'm sad to get off and excited to get back on every time I ride. Since it's too cold right now, I am like a kid on December 24 who can't wait for the next morning!
