i was 14 when i first went out on a kettle infact any bike so it frightened the life out of me always held a special place im still riding now and im 48 . To see sir what you have done to my memory of this machine is AWSOME I AM IN AWE GOOD JOB MY FRIEND HATS OFF TO YOU. :)
You have done such a lovely job on this bike , and much like you I love 2 strokes , it's that sound . Plus the GT 750 was a class bike anyway , you have bought it back to the modern day its lovely . I hope you have lots of fun on it 😃
A friend of mine got hold of a TR 750 engine from Suzuki America, with the original porting, carbs transmission, dry clutch, chambers with no cans.. With original pistons he runs it about a week each summer, Wiseco apparently don't make forged ones any longer. : )
wow what a noise the gt750 makes and mate it looks fucking awesomely beautiful I love the old and new slap together wow it looks factory, mate wicked job and hope I see it out there somewhere coz it's got to look even better in the flesh thanks mate for this eye candy
some hard work and thought gone into this bike ,,it would have been good to hear and see it being ridden , guess it has the preformance of an sv 650 nice touch purists would say its shame to de value an old classic but everyone to there own opinion i guess good stuff shane
I am looking at buying one of these as a cafe racer project. It sounds awesome, what have you done to the engine/how does it perform? sounds like it can rev.
I had a Kaw 500 3 and if its anything like that chassis wise you will need to brace it somehow because I used to bend mine with the shitty suspension and fucked tires....nice
Stunning bike , always loved the gt 750 and this mix of old and new is amazing .. dont know what the need is for the "filth" though ... bit childish really.
dont know about this. the purist in me says its a ruined classic but i bet it handles like a dream with wicked triple 2 stroke power! bet its a ton of fun to ride
Wow - what a nice build! Hi, They say imitation is the best form of flattery. So, I would like to build my 72 the very close to same way you have your bike set up. It is one of the cleanest (to my taste) example of a Café Racer GT750 I have found on the web. I just acquired last month a complete and matching numbers 76 Water Buffalo and a ’72 non-matching basket case (incomplete). I am in the process of acquiring 2010+ GX’er parts - Complete rear swing arm and shock - Complete rear wheel with brake and caliper - Complete front wheel with brake and caliper - Front and rear fenders - Front forks and triple trees - Front bars and controls - Rear brake pedal and brake reservoir - Front brake lever and reservoir I am a former tool and die maker and I would really appreciate getting in contact with you. I’m currently finishing another project (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-scvP0wp5d2o.html, the build is much further along) but I want to start on the Water Buffalo soon after this. I’d value your input on getting the front forks on to the stock frame, the swingarm to the stock frame etc. May I call you or email you? Thanks My email is sybarite.stephane@gmail.com Steph Luskville, Québec Canada
So jealous!, that is the best looking bike I have ever seen. What a great job you have done. Pure Art..... pure sex ...... pure filth. Good on you sir.
