Hey mate, I love the rig, would love to see a video of the interior and of the pedals driving out to see how the throttle and clutch in action if you get a chance, what a beauty of a vehicle
Great video mate. You also showed one of the reasons why I don’t go to Bribie anymore. I’ve never had a single issue on the beach or track in my Wrangler and it blows my mind when I see 4WDs bogged there.
All the best with your new youtube channel. I'm interested in all things 4WD and I've had a zook in the past (my first 4WD). My next 4wd will probably be about as diametrically opposed as possible... A Unimog (with a removable camper mounted on the tray). Still sorting out if I want a new Unimog (5023) or an older restored ex ADF U1700L (again with a camper pod on the back). I've never considered Bribie island, I've done Fraser in a 75 Series Troopy, but it may be some time before I get back over there to do any more (I live in WA). I do want to tour Qld again as part of a around Australia tour concentrating on NT, Qld and NSW. What mods you got in the Jimny? (good subject for a video even if its not modified). Have a mate who has one, locked, lifted and with 31's and a small winch. Its an older one with a swapped out injected motor. Goes pretty well and beats the old carby engine that was badly affected by steep angles. I wish you success with your new youtube career.
Thanks mate I think a lot of people started 4WD with a jimny I don't know if the new Unimog are as well engineered as the old ones No mods mate just 26's AT and the roof rack
No Techniques needed. It's very light and floats over the sand. They are the best vehicle you can get for sand. Only thing he did was air down, which increased the footprint, and it floated more
